There is a risk that more people becomes aware that this place in Trastevere is a jewel and therefore it becomes difficult to get a table…well we have to live with it and are happy as this was one of our most remarkable experience in Rome: the team is super smart and friendly, the food is fantastic and wine list is wide enough to cover all your needs. So consider this is a secret place and book there with no expectation but a fantastic evening We will be back

Excellent Wine but apart from that nothing that will stay in our mind the day after . Especially after an overpriced experience of a (1) single bruschetta 8.00 euros with so much truffle oil in order to maximise the flavour. The main courses were ok but the pasta had no flavour and was just some warm food in a cold big plate.

Love this restaurant: found it several years ago and has become one of our favorite places where we go at least once (twice for 4 years in a row) during our annual visit to Rome. Good food of consistent quality and a friendly service in one of Rome best neighborhoods. Will be back next year!!!

Abbiamo cenato all'interno del locale e ci siamo trovati bene: ambiente accogliente, ordinato e pulito. Ho scelto questo locale che mi hanno consigliato; a loro volta si sono trovati bene. Devo dire di aver fatto un'ottima scelta. Abbiamo mangiato antipasto e primi, che sono stati veramente speciali e ottimi... Amatriciana e una crema succulenta. Torneremo sicuramente.

Our usual spot in Trastevere, fourth year in a row. Always good and never disappoints. Great food in a small piazza tucked away from the Trastevere craziness. Will be back next year!

It’s ok to say any given restaurant was the best meal you had in Italy, but you can only say it once. For me, this was that place. Dar Sor Olimpio al Drago is tucked into a charming, understated plaza in Trastevere. We sat outside in front of the ivy-covered wall, served by a warm and hospitable gentleman who made the evening feel special. We started with the cacio e pepe, perfectly al dente, with cheese and pepper in flawless balance. Then came an incredible baked salmon with two exquisite sauces, followed by what I can only describe as The Most Delicious Meatballs on Earth. They were so delicate they melted in your mouth, seriously unforgettable. We paired everything with a fennel and citrus salad and two glasses of the house wine. This restaurant should be on everyone’s must visit list.

The food was fantastic! I had a double apetizer portion of Octopus. The sauce was the best that I've ever had. Prices are reasonable.
