Buona impressione complessiva, alcuni margini di miglioramento, ma esperienza affidabile e sufficientemente soddisfacente nel complesso.

We ordered our food 15 minutes before a tour group of 20 arrived at the restaurant. They served the entire tour group before they served our group of 5. Very unhappy with the service. The food was not good.

We made this reservation months ago for NYE. When we arrived, we were rushed upstairs, even though I had my parents who have mobility issues and I explained that to the staff. When we made it (mostly) up there we were made to stand on the stairs to wait because there were already other people up there waiting. The first employee to come up was asked about tables by other guests and he was very short with them. When it was mentioned about reservations he said they had to serve over 1000 people that night and they would get to us when it was our turn. Never asked those guests, us, or any of the others for a name or reservation time. We waited for a while and finally another much more helpful employee came and sorted it out. After that it was just one thing after another. We were rushed to order by the same first employee who got very upset with us that we didn't know what we wanted immediately upon sitting down. Once we ordered we got a bottle of wine and he broke the cork which resulted in the glasses of wine having cork in them. We had to track down someone else to get us a fresh bottle and glasses. We had not even finished our 1/2 appetizer (they didn't bring the other until we were nearly done with our dinner) when they brought our main dishes. We were rushed from start to finish and te food was subpar for Italy.

Ristorante turistico ma valido per buona scelta di piatti, ben cucinati e abbondanti, servizio veloce benché pieno. Rapporto qualità/prezzo non male.

Reckless staff and rude host. Food was not impressive at all (and we were starving, so anything would impress us), specially for the price. too expensive and tourist trapper.

Sono stata a Il Barroccio a Roma e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole! Il locale è accogliente, curato nei dettagli e con un’atmosfera calda e autentica. Il personale è gentilissimo e sempre sorridente, attento a ogni esigenza. Il cibo è semplicemente delizioso: piatti tipici romani preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. La carbonara è tra le migliori che abbia mai mangiato! Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi onesti. Un posto dove tornerò sicuramente — perfetto sia per una cena tra amici che per una serata tranquilla. Consigliatissimo! 🇮🇹🍝

We always come here when In Rome. Despite being so close to the Pantheon it is not a tourist trap restaurant. The food is great and reasonably priced. Excellent range pizza of pasta and meat and fish dishes. Wine is reasonable and service is superb. Try the sizzling fillet of beef with porcini mushrooms and cheese. Not on menu but from sister restaurant across the road. It is amazing and comes with potatoes so no side necessary. Desserts also good . Sit outside for great people watching!

This restaurant was absolutely amazing from the waiters to the food to the entire experience. I highly recommend it.

Our dinner at Il Barroccio was unfortunately the worst we’ve had in Italy. We were seated in a small back room, and the service was poor from start to finish. The wine was brought without being shown or tasted, and we never received any bread. Dishes weren’t cleared unless we asked, and the pasta was bland and lacking flavor. The only good part of the meal was the cheese and charcuterie board at the beginning. To make things worse, when I tried to round up the bill modestly, the waiter insisted I pay more in a way that felt quite uncomfortable. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Such a lovely place! Excellent service and the food was amazing. A definite must visit in Rome.

Un vero colpo di cuore! Appena arrivato in questo ristorante, sono rimasto affascinato dall'atmosfera calda ed elegante. Il servizio era impeccabile, con un personale attento e sorridente, sempre pronto a soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Per quanto riguarda la cucina, è stata una vera esplosione di sapori! I piatti non sono solo deliziosi, ma anche magnificamente presentati. Il mio piatto principale, una [fetuccina al pomodoro e polpette], era semplicemente divino. I dolci sono una vera delizia per le papille gustative! L'aggiunta è del tutto ragionevole e giustificata per la qualità dei prodotti e dell'esperienza. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a tutti! Uno senza errori!
