Gentilissimi e professionali, la cena ha. rispettato le aspettative come sempre. Peccato per una compagnia di giovani vocianti e maleducati che hanno creato imbarazzo a clienti e personale, disagio ovviamente non imputabile alla gestione del locale.

We made reservation, but showed up early and got in. I wouldn't say laid back, but not haughty like another place we went to the night before. Down to earth food and wine pricing, you dont feel like you are being taken advantage of. Had items recommend by our server. Good choices. Ste and beans, mixed meats, tortellini with meat and mushroom, and lasagna, bottle of house red. One dessert. 84 euro. 2 people Server (speaks 4 languages) and us - we chatted, didn't feel rushed. Enjoyed our evening.

My husband and I were not impressed with the waiter or our food. My penne with mozzarella was boring. I expected that the tomato sauce was going to knock my socks off because I was in Italy. But alas no flavor. My husband had tortellini with peas and cream sauce. He did not really like his either.

We arrived a little late for our reservation, and were delighted to learn that we were still able to be seated. We had a personable young waiter, who was very helpful with ordering our meal. The food, which came quickly and hot, was delicious! Your restaurant was recommended by a friend and I am excited to let her know we had a wonderful experience at La Spada.

Very surprisingly poor experience based on other reviews. Poor food, poor presentation, poor service. The worst meal of three weeks in Italy. You could choose a trattoria at random in this neighborhood and do much better. Indifferently roasted chicken that was dry as a bone and partially burned. Gristly steak with no salt whatsoever. Bland, tepid barley soup. On top of which, multiple items were left out, delivered late, delivered out of sequence. There’s no need to eat like this in Florence. Do yourself a favor and chose somewhere else.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre dîner à La Spada. Les viandes sont tendres et cuites à souhait. Le gratin d'aubergines est délicieux. J'ai beaucoup aimé aussi la tarte poire chocolat. Le personnel est très agréable. Et le tarif tout à fait compétitif. Je recommande.
