Okay dinner . Interesting dishes although on website menu choice is a larger actually is at the table ! Panna cotta great . Staff sweet . Breaded pork ok ; lacked parmesan and turmeric as mentioned in ingredients . Spaghetti ordered with extra truffle but truffle lacked oomph...... no umami ! Expected much more though !

Un locale molto fine, silenzioso, dove puoi assaporare a fondo i gusti prelibati delle loro portate. Ci tornerò.

Pranzo super, atmosfera calda e tipica, servizio gentile e preparato. Dall’antipasto alla pasta e alla carne, tutto equilibrato e gustosissimo. Ottima anche la selezione dei vini. Un posto da non perdere se ami i sapori di bosco.

We ordered two antipasta, two primi and two secondi. Of each pairing one dish was good and the other bland. The service was good, the atmosphere pleasant. The most expensive meal we have had in our two weeks in Sicily.

A beautiful, cozy hostaria in Castelbuono with excellent food and service. Our appetizer of tenerumi souffle and caponata was delicious, if a tiny bit small maybe. The lamb chops and carrè di suino nero panato were extraordinary, and the ice-cream dessert was excellent as well. The prices are in line with the area, but Nangalarruni has a little something extra I think.

Menu statico senza eccezioni. Proprietari poco socievoli e parchi di consigli. Qualità dei piatti buono ma senza eccedere in bontà. Prezzi piuttosto alti. Scelta dei vini ampia ma costosa rispetto al tipo di ristorante.

Un vero tempio del cibo, dove tutto è curato con tanta attenzione e allo stesso tempo tanta semplicità e calore quasi familiare da far sì che la cucina tradizionale non abbia nulla da invidiare alla più blasonata ma fredda cucina d’avanguardia.

Ho preso il menù degustazione da 45 euro, tutto ottimo. Consigliato!

We had three courses with undefinable mushrooms none of which delighted us with mushroom-typical intense taste. As starter we had a gratin with mushrooms (?) accompanied with watery spinach and taste was coming from the cheese covering it all. Then we had spaghetti with mushrooms (?) and the only taste was coming from pepper. And finally grilled meat with mushrooms (?) which were even bitter and soaking with oil. Feedback was absorbed like a mushroom.... errr.... sponge. So all in all too expensive for mediocre food. Or maybe they just treat non-native speakers like what they are: cash cows.

Fresh food served with a smile in the sun with a focus on local seasonal ingredients. Perfecto.
