We made a reservation for 6:30pm to eat before the peformance at the Teatro La Fenice starting at 8pm. The water bus took longer than expected so we were a little late. As we passed the restaurant, they must have noticed that we were Japanese and welcomed us in. As we were just about to make it to the theator at 8pm, we told the restaurant and they did their best to serve us the menu as soOn as possible. The restaurant has a very luxurious feel and is actually quite expensive, but the waiters and staff were friendly and it was a comfortable. All the food was delicious. The have known what Japanese people often do, as they served us a share plate for each course so we could all share.

Wonderful food, Wonderful Wine & Brilliant Service! This truly was the best meal we’ve had in Venice.

This was our first experience here. The service and drinks were fantastic! The food, while beautifully plated and served, was a little hit and miss. For the prices we paid I expected to be wowed and I left feeling a bit disappointed. 7.5/10

Love this place. Food, ambience, attention to detail as good as it gets in Venice. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable with a sense of humour.

We very much enjoyed our meal at La Caravella. The menu was pretty small with not all that much choice, however we each found a meal which was very good. The seating next to the heater was comfortable as it would have been rather "fresh" without it. As we always stay in the hotel Saturnia, we will definitely re-vist the restaurant next time.

Poor service, ignored for fifteen minutes on arrival. My Secondi of liver was served cold, as if it had sat out for ten minutes. Most expensive place we ate in Venice, but easily the worst.
