Lovely staff welcomed and made us feel at ease. Dinner which we ordered was Fish of the day and a sea food pasta which was extremely good. If we have more time we would love visit again.Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

La comida estaba muy buena pero el servicio era aunque atento algo exagerado: rellenando el vino siempre, promocionando platos y extras. Si te gusta el sobreseevicio y no te abruma, este es tu sitio. P/p 50€.

Fue fantástico. De los mejores de Venecia. El pulpo a la veneciana y sepia estaban buenísimos. La carrillera fantástica . Todo 10

Best Venetian cuisine in Venice we’ve had, hands down. Excellent service and wine recommendation. Would return in a heart beat. Finally a place to eat in Venice without feeling like you’re in a tourist trap.

It been 6 years since I was last in Venice and on my return trip one of the things that I really hoped to see was one of the best restaurants I had for my earlier visit. Situated in the university area Hostaria Osottoosopra is a small out of the way restaurant down some side streets. It has the advantage that you can book on line, the tables are limited. It's great strengths are that it has a limited menu but nonetheless delicious and being small they are able to create fresh well-cooked food throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed it and if I come back to Venice again this will be my first port of call.

Das Carpaccio war super zart und die Pasta aussergewöhnlich. Wir feierten meinen Geburtstag mit einem feinen Wein aus dem Veneto. Da die Winery ebenfalls ein Jubiläum feierte war mein Jahrgang direkt im Glas eingelassen. Als der Kellner davon Wind bekam schenkte er uns beim Verlassen des Lokals spontan eine Flasche dieses Weins. Incredibile!!

Decent restaurant, overall good food. Friends ordered and praised stewed beef cheeks. I ordered a rombo fish, it was normal, a bit dry and the sauce is a bit sour for my taste. The waiter made a remark to me… that I was swinging on a chair. Maybe he's right, but still it's strange, we're not at school :) And his tone was harsh. About whether we want desserts and coffee we were asked in such a tone, as if they were kicking us out ...

Etwas Abseits der größten Touristenströme. Das Lokal ist sehr nett, die Kellner äußerst bemüht und das Essen phänomenal. Wir haben uns viel erwartet, und das wurde auch noch übertroffen. Reservierung jedenfalls empfohlen. Ansonsten kriegt man schwer einen Tisch.

Excellent food. As opposed to touristy places to avoid, this restaurant has a more reduced menu. We tried the anchovy pasta (we were warned that it has a strong taste) and LOVED it.

Me and my husband had a lovely quiet evening in this small hostaria. The staff is really young, but very professional in the same time. Every single dish we've tried was good as expected. We really had to try their ravioli with truffle sauce, and it didn't disappointed. With so many bad places around Venice, this was a real gem.

Esperienza da rifare, un ristorante che offre alta qualità e tradizione ad ogni pietanza. Spazi ponderati, per questo è bene prenotare. Servizio giovane e davvero cordiale.

If you ever decide to visit this place, I strongly recommend their fish of the day whis on my visit was, seabass in white wine with lemon, olives, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes and all that baked in white wine( the exact description of the waiter). Fish was coocked to perfection and it was very good. This is a cosy place, the service made us feel welcomed. Wish there were more people inside, but it's end of the season, so Venice is empty.

Locale carino a 10 min dalla stazione di Santa Lucia a piedi. Menù con proposte sia di carne che di pesce, con un occhio alla tradizione veneziana (anche se i ragazzi in sala non erano sicuramente italiani). Ottima accoglienza e ancor di più il servizio, preciso e puntuale.. specialmente il ragazzo che ci ha servito tutta la cena. Porzioni abbondanti, prezzi nella media (medio-alti diciamo): due antipasti, due secondi, due calici di vino con acqua e un dolce diviso per 90€.. non poco ma siamo usciti sazi. Qualità buona, seppie un po’ salate. Ci aspettavamo Dolci più particolari.. erano un po’ pochi (3) e semplici, ma comunque buoni

Posto molto accogliente con piatti tipici, porzione giuste. Buonissimo lantipasto con formaggio di capra allo zenzero con crema di carote e fondo di carciofo. Consiglio assagiare anke i ravioli alltartufo e crema mascarpone, piatto divino. Servizio rapido e giovanile. Ottima esperienza in una citta piena di trapole.

Meravigliosa proposta non turistica made in Venice Ottimo ristorantino in zona centrale, ricco di piatti tipici veneziani rivisitati con tocco originale. Il cuore di carciofo con caprino croccante è delizioso: consigliatissimo!! Personale gentile e rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo!

La pasta con ragu' d'anatra e la guancia di vitello molto buone. Caprese di burrata alquanto insipida. Tiramisu' classico. Bel locale, atmosfera elegante e staff molto gentile.

Siamo stati bene. È piccolino ma grazioso. Ci torniamo sicuramente.

We had a great evening! The tuna tartare with green apple was really good and worth the try. Then I had cuttlefish in its own ink and I absolutely loved it! The pinogriccio (2018) tasted like summer in a glass of vino.
