This was a random find on Quandoo that's we really enjoyed. Friendly maitre'd or owner seated us, we casually ordered and it was better than we expected. We will be back!

Latter is Mamma Iabica is not to be missed. It was recommended by a Roman friend and since we were going to Siracusa to catch the train, it was the perfect opportunity to visit for dinner, excellent Sicilian wine list and the food is outstanding. We’re vegetarians and there was enough for us to choose from, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Gorgeous room and the patio is also lovely. Even if you’re staying in Ortigia, it’s not that far to walk to. Can’t wait to go back

Food was excellent. Home made sicilian food with a fancy twist. We ate capocollo and grilled squid. Both were exciting and tasteful.

Authentic Sicilian, but still feels very current. It was all interesting and very delicious. Everyone was attentive and pleasant, especially the chef, who greeted us and was very genuine in welcoming us to his restaurant. It was wonderful dining in a foreign city without feeling like a tourist. We were surrounded by locals and felt like we were in our favorite neighborhood spot!

Food that is clearly homemade and authentic.Some truly unusual dishes to non -Sicilians that were delicious. The staff is efficient and cordial. The focus is on the food with most of the customers regulars not tourists. Eat there and challenge yourself to try something completely different.

Amazing food but service could definitely be better. The main hostess was lovely and explained the menu very well but waiters were not particularly friendly. The anchovy pasta was incredible. For travellers recommend using google translate app as menu is in Italian.

Siamo arrivati a cena in questo locale molto carino e originale perché consigliato dalla persona che ci ha affittato casa, persone favolose, gentilissime e super attente ai dettagli. Piatti fantastici, ottime porzioni, pesce fresco e davvero gustoso! Peccato che sia stata la nostra ultima sera a Siracusa, ci saremmo tornati volentieri! Consigliatissimo! Complimenti!
