Ai Pie del Ponte was a lovely hidden gem that we are so happy we found! Andrea has curated nothing short of perfection. It feels like you are eating dinner at your family’s home. Andrea is hysterical and has such a great energy and spirit and it truly shows through his dishes and wine. This is a can’t miss restaurant in Venice and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you again for the hospitality and meal!

I loved it so much I went back the second night. As a solo woman travelling I was made to feel comfortable and loved the evening. The food was outstanding and the chef/owner was really good. Can’t remember when I had such good meal in relaxed atmosphere

We had an amazing meal last week when we were in Venice. Andrea is an amazing cook, waiter, sommelier all in one. Please go and have a real Italian 3 course dinner. Be ready to take some time since Andrea does it all but well worth it. We had great appetizers, pasta (Caccio et Pepe), lamb and duck entrees then amazing deserts and a grappa to top it off. This is the kind of restaurant you want to patronize where an owner who really cares about food and treats you like family makes an amazing meal for you to share with your friends. Andrea ist ein mustergültiger „Patron“. Kleine Karte aber ursprünglich und auch überraschend (Diesmal war Eselsgulasch auf der Karte). Gute Weinauswahl und das alles zu einem guten Preis. Ich war alleine dort aber kam schnell mit Andrea und seinen anderen Gästen ins Gespräch.

Location lontana dal caos turistico. Posto intimo con un buon maggiore di qualità, un ottimo bere. Ma la differenza la fa Andrea, oste titolare che oltre a spiegarti cosa mangi e bevi, ti intrattiene e ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Sicuramente ci torniamo. Nicola

First visit to Italy and after 5 days in country trying a variety of restaurants in Milano, Como and Venice, this was by far the best pasta. My wife has scallops with finely masked potato that was delicious as well. Excelllent Italian wine recommendation and gracious host. Highly recommend and will come back next time in Venice!
