Ansprechendes Interieur, zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr gutes Essen. Der vordere Bereich wird vor allem zum abendlichen Getränk von Einheimischen frequentiert. Kleiner Speisebereich - mit ca. 30 Sitzplätzen. Fabelhafte Calamari fritti, als Vorspeise unbedingt die Sardinen kosten! UNBEDINGT vorab reservieren!

Una certezza! Cibo e ambiente sempre al top. Ogni volta che visito Venezia cerco di prenotare una cena alla Cantina Do Spade. Spero rimanga così!

Recommend all fishy meals!!! We enjoyed the good service and atmosphere as well. The wine selection is huge, so you will find definitely one good for your taste

Il ristorante è semplice, il servizio un po' sbrigativo, menù non ampissimo, buoni i prezzi per Venezia.Forse si può trovare di meglio. In ogni caso è meglio prenotare.

Best dinner in Venezia. Good atmosphere and food is very enjoyable. The calamari ripieni was amazing and the seppie in Nero con polenta is the best in Venezia. Prices are reasonable as well.

Nettes Restaurant in Venedig. Nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Sehr professionell und freundlich. Italiener bleiben an der Schank und essen die ausgezeichneten Vorspeisen-Häppchen. Touristen essen im Lokal. Bier ausgezeichnet. Wein, nicht schlecht. Preise ok. Vorspeisenplatte für 2 zu empfehlen, sehr viel Fisch bzw. Octopus. Hauptspeisen auch ok. Fegato sehr gut. Ravioli al dente. Keine Sensation, aber kein Reinfall.

Il posto molto suggestivo si trova non lontano dal mercato del pesce. Questo fa si che i prodotti usati in cucina siano sempre freschi! Si spende poco e si mangia benissimo!!! Provatelo!!!

Ottimo ristorante, prezzi onesti per Venezia. Buona qualità dei piatti e anche il vino bianco della casa è stata una valida scelta. Tavolo liberato appena siamo arrivati.

Cantina Do Spade was highly rated on Yelp and recommended by at least 1 travel website. We got a reservation for dinner and found ourselves quite disappointed. This is the oldest cicchetti restaurant in Venice. That is clearly what they do well - when you walk in there is a case full of small bites that people can order to eat at bar tables (or out in the street as there was a huge rowdy crowd outside). We saw many young people and several gondolieri coming by clearly using this as their go to hotspot for a casual drink. However, dinner there was a completely different experience. Per our research before going if you want to have dinner there (not just order take out from the counter) you must have a reservation, and we did. We were seated next to the bar (there is a separate back room that appeared to be quieter and nicer that we were not taken to) and our presence seemed to annoy our waitress for an unclear reason. The sit down menu is clearly lacking. It was short and differed greatly from what was posted online. It did not contain any of the cicchetti items in the case and it was unclear to us if those could be ordered (our waitress did not explain). Additionally when we initially ordered the dish we selected wasn't offered that night and we were told the substitution. It was obvious to us that other (Italian speaking, we were English speaking tourists) guests were told a list of specials and menu addition/changes when they were seated. After a lack luster meal: Meatballs - ok, not bad, but not remarkable, sauce was ok but would have liked more, polenta seemed an odd choice to pair with it and was gummy in texture without much flavor Gnocchi with meat sauce - good, but not better than you can get in the US Ravioli (mushroom on the menu, but that night sea bass and asparagus) - also ok, probably best dish we had but not outstanding Sea bass - full fish on the plate (always difficult to self filet but we understand that is the typical presentation), not very flavorful ...we were ignored for at least 30 minutes. We then finally caught the attention of our waitress and asked for the check, only to have to wait an additional 15-20 minutes and ask a second time. In summary, this seems like a very genuine place, well liked by the locals for a beer and snack at the start of the night. If you want to have that authentic experience perhaps stop by and order a quick snack to go. However, not a good place to attempt to have a sit down dinner.

complimenti al cuoco!!! il branzino era perfetto! auch die Vorspeise war exellent....und unsere Tischdame war sehr , sehr freundlich! Alles in allem eine Wiederholung wert! Ich freue mich schon wieder dort zu sein, im Dezember!

Il locale è molto molto carino, il cibo molto buono e il personale molto disponibile: lo consiglio sotto tutti i punti di vista! Ricordatevi di prenotare...

Prenotato un tavolo per le 21.30, siamo arrivati cinque minuti e dopo tre minuti ci hanno fatto accomodare. Precisione, puntualità e buona qualità del cibo.

Quella meravigliosa esperienza da pranzo! Il ristorante offre rifugio dalle stradine veneziane e offre una meravigliosa esperienza complessiva. Il cibo era meraviglioso, soprattutto gli Spaghetti al nero di seppia. Il servizio era meraviglioso, ei server erano estremamente disponibile e accogliente.

questa cantina Do Spade bisogna proprio cercarla, perché non si trova la via cercando sulla cartina di Venezia. Vale la pena farvi visita; buona accoglienza e ottimo cibo della tipica cucina veneta.

Plats délicieux, cadre sobre, service irréprochable, que du bonheur... Et 500 ans d'histoire, une très belle découverte. Il faut essayer les friture légères presque aériennes.

Difficile da trovare in quanto la via non si trova sulle cartine, ma molto simpatico e con servizio veloce. Ampia scelta e ottima qualità, specialmente nei "cicchetti" che possono anche fare da pranzo leggero.

The restaurant is a little hard to find but definitely worth it. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the ravioli with porcini mushrooms in a butter sage sauce that is in the top 3 meals I've had in Rome. My husband had the liver and onions and said they were tender and melt in your mouth. The desserts are good too. We strongly suggest a reservation as the restaurant is small and extremely crowded. We literally had trouble leaving the place because there were so many people in the front and spilling out onto the street.

Great place for snacks or a meal. Lively and friendly with a fantastic assortment of chicetti. A real Venitian bar. recommended to anyone visiting here.

I primi piatti sono arrivati freddi.... mi ero trovata meglio in precedenza ma ritornerò per riconfermare l'impressione. Il vino sfuso definito "friulano" credo che non dovrebbe essere chiamato tale perché non ha nulla a che vedere con questa definizione.

Cantina Do Spade is an absolutely adorable restaurant with classic Italian spirit! The best sea food so far!! The mussels were so fresh, the sauce is spicy but perfectly match! We tried the special daily offer, Filetto di Orate alle “Do spade” and Spaghetti alla busara (spaghetti with scampi) and they were really nice! The waitresses are helpful and kind, even if it is late they don't stop smiling! Booking is recommended.

Pranzo gradevole,buon servizio. Un po rumorosa la saletta...ma comunque caratteristica. Sicuramente da condigliare. Buona scelta di cicheti e risotto di pesce quisito. Ottima anche l'idea delle mini porzioni per chi non vuole mangiare troppo.

Quella delle Do Spade una cucina che non delude; abbiamo sperimentato una cenetta di pesce a base di fritti proprio buoni. Ottimo il prosecco della casa. Mentre la prossima volta faremo a meno dell'insipido tiramisù fatto in casa. Prezzi abbordabili.

Personale eccellente di aspettare. Il cibo è fantastico. Abbiamo apprezzato 2 antipasti e 2 Secondi. Tutti erano deliziosi. L'ambiente è confortevole e rilassante. Ci torneremo sicuramente per il pranzo di nuovo.

Servizio veloce personale giovane e gentile e una bella atmosfera. Cibo fresco e ben cucinato.....da consigliare soprattutto le fritture di pesce e verdure..Conto adeguato.....unica nota dolente: il tiramisù!

E' stato tutto perfetto, serata splendida, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, personale gentilissimo. Al mio prossimo viaggio a Venezia ci ritornerò sicuramente! Devo ricordarmi di prenotare in anticipo altrimenti ...non trovi posto!

Ambiente molto simpatico, cibo veneziano della tradizione, fatto bene. Uno dei ristoranti in cui torno sempre quando sono a Venezia. Onesti nei prezzi, non guasta

Posso solo concordare con tutti gli altri recensori per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo: ottima. Molti buone le tagliatelle con asparagi e capesante, gli spaghetti alla scogliera, le polpettine di carne con letto di polenta, i piatti di verdura. Le 3 note negative sono: pur avendo prenotato per 4, al tavolo c'erano solo 3 sedie e la ragazza che ci ha accompagnato non l'ha notato. Quindi ho dovuto andare a richiedere una 4. sedia. Pur avendo pagato € 2,50 per coperto non c'erano i tovaglioli, che ho dovuto nuovamente andare a richiedere, in quanto chi ci ha aveva portato le pietanze non lo aveva notato. La cosa più spiacevole è stata quando hanno portato il conto alla mia conoscente di Dallas, che un po' perplessa me lo ha passato per un ulteriore controllo (la signora è responsabile senior di un grossa banca americana e quindi avvezza ai controlli). Sinceramente il conto di € 120,00 mi sembrava salato. In effetti sul conto era indicato un antipasto per € 74,50!! che non avevamo preso. Ho chiamato il personale chiedendogli di verificare la cosa. Sono tornati con un nuovo conto di € 59,00 (quindi € 61,00 in meno rispetto al primo) dicendo che si erano sbagliati nel digitare gli importi e scusandosi. Se la mia conoscente in buona fede avesse pagato senza obiettare ....... avrebbe pagato € 61,00 non dovuti. Di ciò la signora americana era alquanto indignata e stizzita e mi ha pregato quindi di riportare la cosa.

Rating a 3... cute little place - very hard to find! We had three dishes - pasta with meat sauce, ravioli, and fried calamari with vegetables. The ravioli may have been the best that I had during our stay in Italy, but the meat sauce and fried calamari/veggies were super greasy. There was also very little calamari, but a ton of veggies. Given the other venues we visited while in Italy, I would not return to this particular restaurant.
