The food and wine were superb, and the service was phenomenal as well. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Rome and it was highly recommended by our hotel Raphael.

Nette Atmosphäre , sehr interessante Karte mit römischen Spezialitäten , qualitativ excellent zubereitet , gute Weinkarte. Das Restaurant lässt sich gut zu Fuß erreichen , wenn man in der Nähe der Engelsburg ist .

Service was fine, but the food was below our expectations

Very good food and wines, good service but quite pricey. There are better deals in town. Also the majority of customers were tourists, which is not a plus.

Service was slow. I waited my dessert for 20 minutes and it came after I asked waiter. traditional liquer was not offered as almost all guests.

Cibo eccellente, ambiente accogliente, personale meraviglioso. Abbiamo ordinato il menu degustazione, con alcune aggiunte. Gli gnocchi erano tra i migliori che avessimo mai avuto !! Ritorneremo sicuramente!

Lovely place, with friendly and efficient service. The food is way above average, all freshly prepared. Overall a superb experience, and we'll be back. Easy to find too.

The artichoke appetizer was the best I have ever had. The carbonara and the gnocchi were outstanding so of course I expected the entrees to be the same but the sweetbreads were nothing special. I wouldn't come back as there are so many amazing restaurants in Rome.

Upon arrival the staff wanted to give us the worst table in an a side room in an otherwise almost empty restaurant. We did not accept it and where given a better table. The starters artichoke was excellent, the chicken was tough, a kind of long distance runner. The cheese took 20 Minutes, only when I said to the waiter I like to cancel the Order arrived. I would not recommend the place.

The meal was excellent, the device very attentive but too fast with the courses. It only took 1 hour to have 3 courses and coffee.

The food was inventive and delicious. My husband and I were delighted by the white chocolate "soup" with capers for dessert! The service was impeccable and thoughtful. It was a little warm for Americans used to high AC, but the week was one of the hottest in all of the summer. We'd love to visit again if we return to Rome.

Wonderful food and friendly staff - very patient with us non-Italian speaking Americans. L'Archangelo has a very tasty local cuisine and an incredible wine list. It was a quite and enjoyable atmosphere and in a great location for the Prati district. We will definitely return on our next trip to Rome!

Amazing food and service. Had the supplizio, risotto and tripe and everything was perfect. Staff were kind and attentive and careful to explain dishes. Definitely recommended

Very nice hall, helpful, friendly and warm personnel. The food very tasty and combines beautifully originality and tradition. Its price is not for everyday dinning but taking into account the quality of the food and the list of wines it seems that worth an occasional extra expenditure.

Sempre eccellente. Già conoscevo. È la giusta convivenza di cucina tradizionale rimana ed esperienza gourmet. I materiali sono di prima qualità, servizio ottimo. E poi le macchinine che arredano!! La crema fritta e pecorino come dessert è il massimo.

Very good food, best carbonara I ever had. Smooth and silly but tasty and filled with the Smoky taste of the pancetta. Other dishes were also outstanding.

The menu was based on basic Italian recipes but each dish had the exquisite personal touch of the chef which made them a delight to the palette. There was an excellent and varied selection of wines and the service was friendly and professional. A highly recommended experience.

Buona cucina romana, ma pochi piatti da scegliere e nulla di particolarmente eccezionale. La cantina abbastanza fornita, il servizio accurato e cortese; anche lo chef si è presentato al tavolo un paio di volte durante la cena. Il prezzo, relativamente alto. Nel complesso una esperienza positiva ma senza nulla di straordinario da ricordare.

It's only January 4th, but so far, in 2017, the gnocchi special has been our best meal this year. If we had dined at l'Arcangelo in 2016, it would have been one of our two best meals of 2016. Complimenti!!

The place is nice. The menu has not many options, but the food is good, nothing special, but good. The service is ok. The bathroom is terrible!

Dal "Supplizio" agli gnocchi all'amatriciana, alla trippa, tutti i piatti sono stati esemplari e cucinati come "dalla mamma". La tradizione è resa perfettamente e non millantata come troppo spesso si scopre. È dovuto un grazie.

Ottimo tutto, a cominciare dal servizio e dall'ambiente. Carciofi alla romana squisiti e tenerissimi. Supplizio-sublime. Amatriciana perfetta nella sua semplicitá. Un punto in meno perché l'altro primo che abbiamo preso, seppur ottimo, ci é sembrato troppo elaborato tanto che non ricordo neanche bene cosa fosse: tagliatelle con? Comunque consigliatissimo.

Cibo delizioso, il servizio cordiale ed efficiente. Il menu comprende classici romani così come combinazioni molto inventivi di consistenze e sapori, soprattutto i dessert. Un'ampia lista di vini ea prezzi ragionevoli. E 'stato un piacere cenare lì e ritorneremo sicuramente.

in realta un po delusa..la cucina, bencche limitata non era una creazione che mi aspettavo..non e la cucina tradizionale e non e una cucina innovativa veramente interessante...il servizio era cosi cosi e i prezzi troppo alti per quel che veniva servita..

Another delicious dinner at L'Arcangelo. The sweetbreads and the tagliatelle with chicken gizzards are out of this world! And as always, the service was top notch.

The dishes of the day were quite tasty and had a very light sauce on al dente pasta.Highly recommended for any visitor to Romantic Rome!

We had a very nice dinner and the service was great. However the waiter did not speak english, but it was all good anyway :) On the tables there were small toy cars. I like everything about this restaurant except one of the cars on our table - it said "MEN POWER" on it ;) The world does not need more patriarchalism! Other than that we were happy guests and the food was excellent.

Best meal we had while we were in Rome. Creative menu, excellent service and interesting wine list, with some aged wines at great prices. I would definitely dine here again if given the opportunity.

Ottimo il Supplizio ed i bignè con crema e fonduta agli agrumi. I rigatoni erano un po' troppo al dente, ma il guanciale era strepitoso! Ottimo servizio!

La cena era incredibile! Gli ingredienti erano freschi e le ricette erano buono ed equilibrato. Ho particolarmente apprezzato le tagliatelle fresche con rigaglie di pollo, un piatto che mi ha ricordato della mia giovinezza. Non vedo l'ora di mangiare qui di nuovo !!

The restaurant was perfect. Food was delicious, service was excellent, and atmosphere was nice. We had a great bottle of wine and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!
