Teleurstellend, we voelden ons genegeerd alle aandacht ging naar de vaste gasten. Erg lang op het hoofdgerecht moeten wachten, vaste gasten die later besteld hadden gingen voor.

Restaurant typique avec peu de choix Bon mais rien d'exceptionnel

Beef roll was very dry and hard to cut, despite tomato sauce was wonderful. I chose carbonara as primi piatti, and it was very good. I really enjoyed white chocolate desert. I was not satisfied at all by wine service at a glass : no enthusiasm to make me a proposal for a white wine not too dry, and I had no explanation on the wine. I discovered the restaurant two years ago, and I’m not sure to choise it again in 2026 when l’ll be back. Clearly disappointed.

Wir wollten in Rom römisch essen gehen und haben dieses Restaurant wegen der Michelin-Auszeichnung ausgewählt. Als Vorspeise haben wir Rinderzunge ausgewählt. Wir essen Rinderzunge ziemlich oft, und unser Meinung nach, haben nicht alle Stückchen der Zunge hergehört (z.B. einige Stückchen hatten zu viele Bänder und einige sogar die Knorpeln, die bei der Zunge nicht geben darf). Als Hauptspeise haben wir Garnelen mit Speck und Beef Diaphragm bestellt. Garnelen waren in Ordnung. Aber Beef Diaphragm war zu zäh, nicht zu kauen. Als Personal gesehen hat, dass diese Speise nicht gegessen wurde, wurde es getauscht. Die neue Portion war ein bisschen besser, aber trotzdem sehr fest und nicht lecker. Der Service ist gut. Aber eigentlich verstehe ich nicht, wie dieses Restaurant in Michelin-liste geraten ist.

L'ambiente è piuttosto intimo e l'arredamento retrò. I piatti però, nonostante la presentazione molto classica, risultano moderni con abbinamenti di sapori ricercati.

Such great daring flavours - have had sea urchin sushi before but never with pasta - delicious and memorable. The smoky sweet quail dish will make me return any day! Very friendly and helpful staff. A very enjoyable experience.

Excellent food and service at the Chef's counter. Staff were warm and friendly, Chef Dandini was very nice and our server was extremely kind. We will definitely go back next time in Roma!

The food was ok. We came to taste the Carbonara, however we've had many other good Carbonara's in various trattoria's around Rome.

L'Arcangelo has the makings of a 1 star Michelin. The service was fantastic and the food was creative and expertly done. Their mixed salad was fantastic, my gnocchi were expertly made and cooked and my lamb was fantastic with the perfect spice pairing. I was able to get wine by the glass and the server selections were great. I wouid recommend to everyone.

Excellent food and service. We got the sampler and it was wonderful. Seemed like a lot of locals. If you did not have a reservation you were likely not able to eat there unless you were a single person at the counter.
