This place was really really awesome. The workers were extremely nice and you receive a complementary wine tasting of their house red wine and limoncello. The food was really food, we got the prosciutto and Mozzarella App, and we split the seafood pasta and Sea Bass for dinner. My wife loved the Tiramisu.

We had read a number of reviews about the seafood at this restaurant and it certainly lived up to the expectations. The manager / owner was brilliant and the food and wine was fantastic. If we return to Venice we will be going here again.

It was wonderful and the staff made our dinner so special! If you go, get the lobster and seafood pasta. Honestly best I have ever had. My boyfriend wish he traded in his food for mine. Make a reservation and you can ask for a table right on the terrace. It’s perfect!

We booked the reservation several weeks in advance based on the quality of seafood dishes we saw online. The experience did not disappoint. The seafood was amazing, our kids enjoyed their pasta dishes, and the owner and staff were creative, allowed us to explore new dishes and provided top notch service. Not to mention, we sat alongside the canal and had a wonderful ambiance. Incredible night!

Lovely little restaurant. No wait with reservation right on the water. Good house wine - fresh seafood pasta - nice starter and finishing Italian liquors on the house! Friendly staff- nice owner. Great place - around $100 for 4.

It takes very very very long to serve 3very simple meals. Even tho the owner was kind but overall we are not very conviene with the price we paid.

Overall a good experience. However, the food was good but nothing special if you consider the prices which are a bit higher. They don’t have a coperto instead they have a 12% service charge.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Ristorante Pizzeria Rio Novo! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! This was the best meal we had in Venice. I had the Tortellini with ham and cream and my wife had noodles with lobster and seafood. We started with a shrimp cocktail to share. We would return here in a heartbeat!

The wait staff and manager (owner?) were absolutely amazing! When the gale storm hit, they were quick to accommodate everyone inside and still give perfect service! Add on the perfectly cooked sea bass I had and filet my wife had, this was the best ending to a very long travel day that we could have had, and the perfect start to our honeymoon. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely lunch but nothing really special . Grilled Fish and vegetables were tasty but my pasta was just ok. Drinks and service were good. Overall, wasn’t worth the 30 min walk from center .

Carlo was the perfect host and attentive treated us as if we were the only family in the restaurant. The food was awesome and the service was great, not to mention the view. We liked it so much we are looking to go back again the next night.
