Ristorante Rio Novo

This restaurant was a real find in Venice. The owner was very welcoming and showed us a great deal of attention during the meal. The linguine with clams was exceptional as was the service. Would go back in a minute. Carol and Jim

We had a lovely lunch but nothing really special . Grilled Fish and vegetables were tasty but my pasta was just ok. Drinks and service were good. Overall, wasn’t worth the 30 min walk from center .

Carlo was the perfect host and attentive treated us as if we were the only family in the restaurant. The food was awesome and the service was great, not to mention the view. We liked it so much we are looking to go back again the next night.

We live in Sydney and visited Rome and Venice. This restaurant is where I found the black spaghetti that is so authentic! Best among the restaurants we've tried while in Rome and Venice.

Good calamari, average Venetian spaghetti. Nice tables outside, nothing special inside.
