Great service, stunning views of the colosseum and delicious cocktails. Highly recommend!

The view makes everything worth it. The wait staff was also amazing, they made recommendations and let me change my mind at least 3 times while ordering with no problems. They brought more snacks as we finished ours and we were grateful for that. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal. We had the pornstar martini and the Instagram model and debated who's was better since both were so delicious. The only downfall at all was the girl at reception she didnt seem to have the best grasp on our reservations, but everyone else was so sweet and helpful.

Terrible experience. We were stuffed into a corner seat next to a bush. All other patrons around us had sparkling water. We were never offered it. They gave us complimentary snacks and also a menu that you could order additional food items but they never asked if we wanted to order anything. They have a two drink minimum which is fine but I had to seek someone out to order our second drinks. We finished them and got the check and left. Great view but EXTREMLEY overrated place. I would not recommend.

Had to book and provide credit card details in excess of recommended spend, then when we arrived had to line up even with a reservation. Not clear on prices of ordering and staff seemed to indicate a minimum spend yet one person in our group only purchased one cocktail and charged only for that. Dress code was highlighted yet people had trackpants on and sneakers. Overall was not worth the hype, view was restricted to only small bench tables around the perimeter of the bar and exclusive to 2 people only. Would not go again.

They obliged us to order 2 drinks/person and we couldn’t enter on time since there is always a queue outside that we have to do no matter our time of reservation. Very small restaurant compared to the pictures on social media and always a blocked view from people sitting on the bar !

While we loved being on the balcony, the four-top tables are low and set behind high-top two-chair tables which severely obstructs the view. Additionally, our service was very slow. :-(

Nice place. Great view. The staff was friendly and helpful. The two drink minimum was accompanied by a small glass of champagne and plenty of snacks. Will visit again.

Very disappointing experience. Don’t expect to have the beautiful pictures at the balcony. We requested a table there but got a seat looking at the bum, legs and shoes of the people sitting there. No view on the colosseum, cocktails or €27 a piece, minimum spend €55 per person. Was supposed to be clear form the booking - it was not. People showing up 15-20 mins late still got better seats, come on team!

Good the drinks is amazing and the service is careful

I came here last year and the appetizers were 100% better than this year. So this is the improvement that I suggest to them, because now the minimum are 2 drinks and not one, so we pay more and for that we should have better appetizers.

The Court experience was outstanding! My margarita drink was the best I have ever had…and the view of the Colosseum at night was so beautiful!

I checked the website a week ahead of time when reservations open up, and I made my reservation for 2 the same day it became available. In addition to this, we arrived early and were the 2nd in line for our timeslot. Despite all this, we were seated in the farthest seats away from the view. Everyone who arrived after us were given better seats to view the Colosseum. And when we asked if we could be moved up closer before the tables were all full, we were told it wasn't possible. This was very frustrating and ruined the experience for us. We would not recommend.

Amazing service and such a beautiful place! The cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced — La Formidabile was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive, kind, and made the whole experience even better. The view of the Colosseum is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed. Totally worth visiting in Rome!

Overall a great experience. The cocktails were good, the service was great and the view was amazing. We personally had the most magical evening and were seated at the best spot - which made our evening even more special. It is a bit expensive but if you’re celebrating or just wanting to treat yourself it is definitely worth it!

Absolutely beautiful view. The check in process was a bit stand offish. Distant and almost not wanting to grant access even if you had your reservation. Honestly the drinks were ok, and the snacks were just chips olives almonds. Nothing spectacular for the price. Really, it’s about the view. You’d think the service would be top notch and the quality of the drinks better, doesn’t help the hotel branding, BUT the view, makes up for it a bit. All in all. It was…ok. Too much hype and not enough punch to back it up.

Service was nice, however, it is a scam. Although you have a view of the Coloseum the view is not worth the price. I enjoyed the cocktails they served, however, you are not guaranteed a good view as seen on social media. This was not mentioned in the booking form. It’s basically first in best dressed. I would have had a better view eating on the road adjacent to the coliseum. Also, the complimentary food you are offered is not worth it - we just had 2 tiny pieces of pizza each with some olives, chips and almonds to snack on. I recommend saving your money and going somewhere else that would be more worthwhile your money. We had to go else where for a proper feed after.

J’étais déjà venue à The Court l’an dernier et j’avais payé uniquement le prix indiqué pour mes cocktails (27 € chacun à l’époque). Cette fois-ci, grosse surprise : on nous a demandé de payer 110 € pour deux cocktails, soit 54 € chacun, car il existerait désormais une “nouvelle politique” tarifaire. personne ne nous avait informés avant la commande. Je ne pense pas que les clients, surtout ceux qui réservent de l’étranger, vont aller lire en détail la politique du bar. Nous venons de France et mon amie était ravie de découvrir ce lieu, mais nous avons finalement été déçues. Nous avons demandé un geste commercial exceptionnel puisque nous n’étions pas au courant et de payer uniquement ce qu’on a consommé, mais le responsable a refusé. Résultat : 110 € pour deux cocktails qui devraient coûter 27 € chacun. Pour un établissement de ce standing, c’est dommage : les clients devraient être informés clairement des changements de politique avant de consommer.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place deserves it. From the moment we arrived, the hostess at the entrance was visibly unfriendly and dismissive. Our server was equally rude throughout the evening. What shocked us the most was the hidden minimum charge: we were told at the door that we “just had to order two drinks,” but nowhere during the booking process was it mentioned that this meant a minimum spend of €55 per person. We only found out when we received the bill. Paying €55 per person for just two drinks, combined with the poor service and lack of transparency, made this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

The host needs training. It was such a messy entry. Just messy and made everyone start on a shitty foot. Just check people in. Have us wait. Let folks in. Instead it was poor communication, a mixed bag of checking in, confusion. Very unprofessional under a guise of professionalism because the kid working kept calm. Calm but inept.

The woman outside who took our reservation was the most miserable, rude and unfriendly person we have ever had the misfortune to meet. When we were shown to our seats, I had previously emailed to advise that we were on our honeymoon and would love seats with the best view of the colosseum. I was so disappointed that we were sat in two low seats with a row of people sat on high seats in front of us, totally blocking our view! Why couldn’t we have been sat at those seats with a beautiful romantic view. Had we been, we would have stayed all evening and spent a lot of money. But we had our standard 4 cocktails - which were awful - and left. Absolutely dreadful experience. Will never return and will tell everyone we can to avoid this place.

The atmosphere is gorgeous. There is a two drink minimum and they’re pricey. However if you are in a relationship with someone who loves the history and gladiators like my husband it’s worth it! Staff were friendly, drinks were fast and yes there is a dress code policy that is clearly stated before arrival. I have nothing bad to say about the Court.

We arrived 10 minutes early and we were greeted and told to stand outside until our time slot, this ruined the vibe a little if I’m honest. We then waited outside for a further 15 mins while everyone was seated, people being seated that arrived after us. Once we finally got inside the experience was gorgeous, the cocktails and food were lovely. The start of the experience just completely ruined it for us and because of that we wouldn’t return.

Service was really bad, people at the hotel were not friendly and lacked proper communication.

Awful rude staff would not recommend to ever go here
