Trattoria Nella

A great find. The food was terrific. The service was great. A cosy atmosphere. One of the best dining experiences of our trip so far.

We had six dinners at different trattorias in Florence and had no complaints about any of them. The atmosphere at Nella was good, the service was very good, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable. So, we would recommend it. The only negative is that it was the only restaurant which offered us no complementary addition such as an after dinner lemoncello, or small desert or appetizer, etc. Normally, we don't expect these in restaurants, but 5 of the 6 restaurants we visited in Florence offered them.

Trattoria tipica e ottimo cibo in un ambiente rustico. Il titolare è simpaticissimo e vi fa stare a vostro agio. Meravigliosa la zuppa di cipolle e la panna cotta!

Il locale è a poca distanza da Ponte Vecchio. Personale gentile e alla mano. Si mangia benissimo e i prezzi sono nella media. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Ok but not the welcome we expected! We were shown to our table and our order taken and our starter promptly put on the table. The waiter could've done with a smile as he seemed very miserable! My bruschetta was rock hard, albeit the tomatoes were lovely. Our spaghetti was over cooked! The tirimisu was bland but then we had the same experience at another restaurant so perhaps that's how they make it in this region? The panna cotta was lovely. I wouldn't return though, as we've found better basic food elsewhere....

We really enjoyed our dinner. The gnocchi, pork and turkey (special) was very good - risotto not as creamy as I like. The owner is great and very passionate. Great pana cotta too.

Wonderful meal at Trattoria Nella! Warm service, good wine and great food. What more could one want! The panne cotta was unbelievable-a must try at the end of the meal.

Nella was a great restaurant in the middle of Florence. Great prices, food and a friendly staff that made our meal so enjoyable. A must if you are in the city center.
