We have been here 3 times before and mainly a good experience. I booked for 22 of my family and friends who were in Italy for our wedding. We had 2 tables, 11 on each but 1 table had their drinks and food before the other was even offered a drink!! We waited an hour and a half to order drinks! The 'fillet' steaks were tough and 2 guests had to send theirs back and to be fair most food was ok but not worth the money. I left stressed the evening before my wedding, unhappy guests and no major apologies of compensation. We will never return :(

My favorite place in Montepertuso! Went twice and each time surprised us with yummy treats.

For a restaurant with such good reviews, this far outside of Positano proper, we expected a lot more. The service was the worst we’ve had in the region, and the food was just okay. We loved the chef’s starter but everything else was subpar. Adding insult to injury is the fact that we were there on our honeymoon, which they knew and did not acknowledge. That aside, the service was terrible.

We had an absolute fabulous time and will be back tonight for dinner!! The food, the staff and atmosphere are all outstanding !!

Excellent meal at Il Ritrovo. Food was delicious - we ate a fabulous plate of antipasti di mare followed by lobster and porcini mushroom pasta - all sublime and great portions. The chocolate orange mousse is definitely worth trying for dessert. The sommelier picked out a lovely and reasonably priced wine and the staff were very attentive. The navetta to come and collect you from, in our case, Positano, and then bring us back home was brilliant service. Really lovely evening celebrating my birthday. Would definitely go back.

Excellent dinner, we could not be happier with our experience. The fresh and fried vegetable appetizer was outstanding and the lobster pasta and sausage pasta (I got it with red sauce and rigatoni) was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Food was great. Also they have a convenient shuttle that can pick you up at any time. We missed our first ride and they were kind enough to send another one.

Very good food - best we had on our trip in Italy. The food was exquisite, the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive - I would go as far to say that this was the best restaurant we visited in Positano and is a must try on and visitors list.

The food was great and the service was a little slow because they were very busy but we recommend the restaurant. They provided a shuttle service both ways.

The best meal my wife and I had while in Positano was at Il Ritrovo. We ate at some of the other "bests" and nothing compared to our meal here. The service is top-notch from the shuttle up & down the mountain through the entire meal. Extensive wine list. Try the pasta with the lobster!

Pretty good food but the service let down the experience. We were rushed through the meal and then left waiting an hour in the street for the transfer back to positano.

This restaurant is in the hills above Positano and therefore a bit hard to reach, but they do offer transfer to/from Positano and the food is worth the trip.

Absolutely perfect. Charming people, wonderful ingredients, delicious food and wine and the most incredible view. Definitely worth a visit (or 2). The chefs surprise starter, pasta with local fish and truffle dishes are spectacular and the wine list comprehensive and very reasonably priced.

The restaurant and staff were amazing, and the food was some of the best we’ve had in Italy. They provided us a shuttle to and from the restaurant, which stopped for time to take photographs. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We loved this restaurant. Excellent food and service with fair price. Wonderful view. Points to the shuttle service, considering that the road to Montepertuso can be a little challeging.

Posto meraviglioso, cibo di qualità e servizio eccellente...abbiamo provato molte pietanze ma la zuppa saracena era deliziosa... da ritornarci al più presto!! Solo i dolci non mi ispiravano un granché..peccato

We absolutely loved our meal!! Paulo was a wonderful host and everything from the presecco, to the bruschetta, our delicious seafood and lobster pasta as well as the tiramisu was delicious. By far our best meal while in Positano!!
