This restaurant is in the hills above Positano and therefore a bit hard to reach, but they do offer transfer to/from Positano and the food is worth the trip.

Absolutely perfect. Charming people, wonderful ingredients, delicious food and wine and the most incredible view. Definitely worth a visit (or 2). The chefs surprise starter, pasta with local fish and truffle dishes are spectacular and the wine list comprehensive and very reasonably priced.

The restaurant and staff were amazing, and the food was some of the best we’ve had in Italy. They provided us a shuttle to and from the restaurant, which stopped for time to take photographs. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We loved this restaurant. Excellent food and service with fair price. Wonderful view. Points to the shuttle service, considering that the road to Montepertuso can be a little challeging.

It’s a favourite of ours when we visit Positano. Everything about it is wonderful and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable.

We absolutely loved our meal!! Paulo was a wonderful host and everything from the presecco, to the bruschetta, our delicious seafood and lobster pasta as well as the tiramisu was delicious. By far our best meal while in Positano!!

The service at Il Ritrovo was amazing and the food was great too. They offered a choice between a tasting menu with the chefs freshest foods of the day and a menu as a second option. There was a complimentary shuttle that will take you there from Positano so no need to worry about the long hike. Highly recommended.

We went to Il Ritrovo for my husband's birthday dinner, and loved it so much returned for our last night of vacation! They brought us a taste of Proscecco and a bruscetta, even before we ordered! We started with grilled octopus, which was perfectly grilled and tender. For our dinners, my husband had the mixed seafood grill, and I had the seabass in crazy water. They both were delicious. My seabass was very delicate, and perfectly cooked. The staff came out and sang happy birthday, and brought him a piece of chocolate cake with a huge candle in it! On our second trip there, we had the fried zucchini flowers for an appetizer, which were so delicious! They were stuffed with ricotta, smoked cheese and ham. This time I had the grilled seabass, which again, was done to perfection, and my husband had a beef dish, which he said was great, but I didn't taste it. Alas, we were both too full for dessert. They have a car service that will pick you up and bring you back to your hotel, since the location is way above Positano, in Montepertuso, which makes for a gorgeous view! I will definitely return here if we return to the area!

This is the greatest restaurant for food and service as well in Positano. They gave us an unforgettable memory during staying in Positano. They provided a shuttle service not only going to the restaurant but also going back to the center. The food is wordless tasting. I strongly recommend!!

Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole pomeriggio in questo locale sulle colline di Positano. Il posto è piacevole con vista mare. I piatti serviti, sono stati confezionati in maniera originale e dal sapore squisito. La mia compagna ancora ne parla. Consigliato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci ritorneremo.

From the shuttle service to & from the restaurant (with photo stops included), to the welcome drink to start and the digestivo to end, this was a great food experience. Our meals were excellent, as was dessert. The staff was very attentive and answered our many questions. I highly recommend Il Ritrovo.
