Osteria Il Gufo

This is a neighbourhood cafe. Once a large noisy family had left, it was pleasantly quiet. The menu is short, in Italian only. The food is good and prices are reasonable.

Onestamente mi aspettavo di più. Un menù abbastanza striminzito con dei prezzi non rapportabili al prodotto offerto. Ho visitato in Umbria locali con la stessa area price ma con una qualità e quantità decisamente migliori. Si può fare di più a cominciare dalla accoglienza.

Staff unfriendly- lamb cous cous bland and some of the meat chewy. It looked like a lamb curry except that would have had more flavour The Vitelli tomato was made with pork not veal and the sauce was bland. The asparagus soup was ok but not great. Menu hand written and photocopied so even more difficult to understand . Was expecting more from the displayed “Good Food Guide” certificates

We loved the risotto ai gamberi, crostini bacalà, insalata mediterraneo, vino rosso, limoncello, and especially the very friendly and welcoming service. When we went back for a 2nd meal, we were treated like family! Grazie mille! 😋

Confidavo in qualcosa di più tipico, ma la cosa importante è stata la somministrazione di pasti gluten-free e la nostra ospite non è stata male, anzi ha molto apprezzato la varietà dei piatti fra cui scegliere.
