The food was amazingly good we had 4 people when we ordered special appetizer we wanted 1 to go with our main meal and sides and were told good to share Instead he brought 4 special appetizers too much food we then cancelled sides and calamari dinner but he did not understand We will know better next time lasagna looked amazing sorry we did not try

We came with high expectations because our son recommended you. I made a reservation. We were seated on the patio and it was beautiful. But service was some of the worst we have had. Mostly we felt ignored.

They missed us for the shuttle bus. Service was so bad. There was thief in the restaurant (the waiter).

Shuttle was 40 minutes late picking us up. No big deal whatsoever if dinner experience not so bad. Restaurant was busy with 2 very large groups of almost 30 people each. Waiter was rushed when he took our order. Our food came and we never saw him again. Food was delicious. It's a shame that the rest of our experience was not. We asked someone for more wine and it never came. Horrible service and truly felt that the staff could have cared less. I went to the restroom and there were numerous people with the same complaints. Not sure why this place was recommended to us but we are sorry we went

This was truly a dinner experience. Family owned and operated, this truly shows. Ciao!

RDS was hard to find on foot but we found it (with the help of a local neighbor). GPS will fail you so take a cab or the service provided by the restaurant. Once your there great atmosphere, fresh pure Itlalian food, cooked individually to perfection. Nice live music.

Excellent service. They have a shuttle service to pick you up and drop you off. The food was good but not amazing,but appropriately priced....except the lobster dish had very little lobster.

God awful music that was like chipmunks singing. Second came the animal experience which was two giant rats running around in the bushes next to the tables. Pasta was ok but very oily and the veal was unedible. This is a tourist restaurant. Nothing authentic. To offset the esperience I went and booked two Michelin restaurants after.

Donna Sofia did not disappoint. Service and food were both fantastic. When the waitress found out it was our honeymoon she bought over more drinks laid rose petals on the table, she made it very special for us.

The food was amazing but the service was awful. We’re so disappointed as we’ve been visiting since 2007 and this was our first negative experience. Very sad to say we won’t be returning.

We went there by recommendation from someone who lives here. Claudio picked us up and was awesome. The Waiter told us about the special appetizer. But didn’t tell us it would cost $90 for an appetizer for the five of us (3 kids). One bottle of wine was only $18. Pasta was really good. Salad super soggy. We could barely eat the meals bc of the appetizer. Claudio took us home and that was really nice and special too. Just make sure you ask for the price if you order a special.

Nice atmosphere but food was average and service was very slow

Bolognese was very good as was the panna cotta. The fillet of beef had no sear on it and was underwhelming as was the veal Sorrento.

Wonderful food and excellent service! One of the bestvmeals we had in Italy. I recommend the sharable antipasto platter. Incredible! Use their free shuttle bus.

il locale è molto particolare, dominano le foto della Loren un pò fuori mano, ma molto cortesemente vengono a prenderti con una navetta piatti di ottima qualità un pò elaborati, comunque tutto buono non ci è stata data una carta ed il titolare, gentilmente, ha ripetuto più volte i piatti disponibili. MA è una pecca Anche il conto è stato eccessivo a mio giudizio: 4 antipasti + 4 primi + 4 dessert 180,00 € comunque ritornerei senza problemi

Location suggestiva, personale attento e cortese. Abbiamo scelto piatti tradizionali per una cena semplice e non troppo sofisticata, l’ideale per chi vuole passare una serata tranquilla mangiando bene senza spendere molto. Sicuramente è uno dei ristoranti da visitare a Sorrento. Non è semplice da raggiungere quindi consiglio di utilizzare il servizio navetta offerto dal ristorante.

Don't know, supposed guaranteed lift from hotel to restaurant never arrived in spite of me, my daughter and hotel emailing and phoning them through out the day. Went somewhere else.

Looked forward to this meal but sadly the place lacked atmosphere and the waiter wasn’t exactly jolly! Maybe an off night as other reviews had encouraged us to go there

Our family dined at Donna Sofia earlier this week after two different people had highly recommended the restaurant. We were very disappointed with the restaurant. The service was not friendly or welcoming. There was a television playing the entire evening, which seemed out of place in a nice restaurant.

Bona cena, um Ristorante molto belo, con un presto service. Recommendo questo posto i ancora aveva una machina a disposicione. Tutta mia famiglia ce felice con questa opizione.

Per Fortuna! Il Ristorante era soltanto quasi 1 Kilometro lontana da nostro Albergo. Abbiamo fatto un passeggiata semplicamente. Stupendo! Il Ristorante e un locale molto accogliente. Ma la cena era molto delicioso! Buonissimo! Il prezzo per cena era conveniente e adeguado.

This review is tough, as the restaurant was highly recommend by a friend. But the food was just average and the service the same. We had to call twice about our ride to the restaurant and upon arrival some of the staff treated us indifferently. We were the youngest couple there and it's as if a server or two didn't think we belonged there. The service improved throughout the meal but the food quality didn't make up for it.

We could not have had a better time. The food was exceptional and the service was first rate. They picked us up from the hotel and the young driver was quite nice. The ride was a bit frightening because the streets were so narrow he had his mirrors turned in. But a great exciting ride! We have suggested this restaurant to other travelers we have met in Sorrento. Bravo!
