A bug was on our meal. Concerned for other diners they do not wash their food properly. They replaced the dish and apologized.

Very good food and excellent service in a beautifully located building on the waterfront. A little quiet when we visited - but understandable as it was a Monday night in November.

There were seating options inside or outside. We chose to sit right beside the river with a sunset view. The service was very good, and the food was fantastic. The walk to the restaurant along the river is long, but enjoyable, and gave us sites of Venice we might not have seen otherwise.

Terrific location on the Giudecca Canal. Good food and service.

The food was great; giant scallops for an appetizer were almost a meal in themselves. Service and price were also great. The only downside is while you can sit on the canal edge it might not be a great view. It is on an outer canal and the is a dock for very large yachts that may be parked and ruin your view. There was also a woman sun bathing feet from the tables but hey, it’s Italy!

Having been visiting the Riviera for a fair few years now, so was disappointed when I found out GP had moved on as owner, as his presence was all part of the experience, along with the exceptional food. So was happy to see that it's still a great menu. The interesting tasting menu has gone sadly, to be replaced with a la carte, but the options are pretty broad and the standard was still up there with the best, with everything we had being executed very well, great flavours still. Is impossible not to miss the previous owner, but still a restaurant worth visiting.
