Taverna San Trovaso

vado ogni volta che vado a venezia alla taverna san trovaso... si mangia molto bene e il prezzo e' giusto... e' un ristorante dove puoi mangiare di tutto... dalla pizza al pesce... e tutto buonissimo!

Cet endroit, jadis un des meilleurs restos de Venise, a TRES nettement baissé de qualité (antipasti de la mer = qq calamars immangeables beaucoup trop cuit, un oeu de baccalao et 2 mini anchous)

Buono e di ottimo livello, costo nella media per il posto

Wonderful tavern we discovered right around the corner from the hotel we were staying at. We would walk by night after night and they were always booked, we were fortunate enough to get a reservation and so glad we did. We kept it simple by ordering pizza. The pizza was executed perfectly and they were quite large so we couldn’t finish them. Great team and great service, so glad we went!

Very good food, but inacceptably long waiting times: more than one hour before any food beyond bread reached our table!

None of the traditional menu that were shown in the website were available. I was told by the waitress that the menu just got changed. All we ordered including chef’s recommendation was sub per. Tuna salad using can of tuna?, seriously. Very disappointed.

So pleased we booked. We enjoyed an excellent meal, friendly service and good value for Venice.Highlights were the black spaghetti with cuttlefish and the battered seafood, very good portions and great cooking. We would return.

Fantastic local taverna in Dorsoduro that we've visited on previous visit ten years earlier. Gladly nothing had changed, the food was fantastic, service friendly, and experience relaxed and enjoyable. I always go for the local Venetian dishes and have to recommend their spaghetti alle seppia nere, my Wife thought the burrata and prosciutto pizza the best she's had. House prosecco very good, and after enjoyable desserts, an amaro Montenegro rounded off a great evening.
