Al Porticciolo

We made reservations for dinner at this restaurant per Rick Steve’s recommendation in his travel book for Sicily. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. Especially after enjoying absolutely amazing dinners in Palermo in the last few days. The Caprese was tasteless as well as my Spaghetti Bolognese. My husband had the Risotto con fruitti de mare. He said it was just ok. Besides that, the waitstaff did not smile or make an effort to be friendly. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. When we got back to our hotel, the front desk clerk gave us recommendations for restaurants that the locals think are good. We will try one of those tomorrow night.

Fish was so fresh. We even got. Class of sparking wine because we had learned of the restaurant from Rick Steves. Lots of people and energy.

Tot ha estat perfecte! A la terrassa uns tagliatelli amb auberginies, tomaquets xerri i tono acompanyats per una birra Messina … i molt més. Gràcies!

Locale molto bello, la vista dalla terrazza è magnifica, servizio molto presente (forse troppo ma è un gusto personale)

It's the best restaurant in Cefalù. Try the Tagliatelle alla Barcaiola.

ho prenotato questo ristorante non conoscendolo e non mi ha deluso ! la vista bellissima sembrava di mangiare in riva al mare . Servizio eccellente , personale gentilissimo e buono il cibo. Locale curato . I bagni puliti e molto graziosi gli arredi e il colore . Lo consiglio !

Prenotazione alle 21:30, ci siamo accomodati alle 22:30. Cibo di scarsa qualità. Tavoli troppo vicini tra loro ed il posto per il passeggino non è stato neppure considerato.

Nonostante avessi prenotato il tavolo per le 21.30 sono stato fatto entrare alle ore 22:00. Cibo di bassa qualità pesce ultra congelato cucinato malissimo. Per me sconsigliatissimo. Ristorante per turisti di passaggio che non conoscono bene la qualità del pesce.

Location molto bella Abbiamo preso la pizza e non ci è proprio piaciuta. Impasto per niente alveolato, sembrava la base delle pizze congelate del supermercato.

Ottimo posto con una bella terrazza sul mare. Ottima la pizza e il servizio, sicuramente da rifare!

Waiters not very attentive. Food was good, but market fish for two was taken away to be served in two portions. By the time it was served, the side orders were cold. The side orders should have been brought with the fish when ready to be served. The location with tables by the shore was great.

Très bon emplacement a Cefalu. Le lieu est superbe avec une très belle vue mer. Et les pizzas étaient exquises. Le tiramisu très bon également. Nous avons toujours peur de tomber sur un attrape touristes. Ce n'est pas le cas ici. Les serveurs sont aimables. La salle est un peu bruyante mais normal au vu du nombre de personnes. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant

Servizio impeccabile, non ce stato un momento dove non ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Tutto quello che hanno cucinato aveva il gusto giusto e senza aromi esterni a coprire. La freschezza è alla base e che dire super consigliato ai visitatori che amano sentirsi a casa e mangiare a base di pesce.

J’ai réservé pour 21h30 je suis arrivé aucune table 8 groupes devant moi et on me dit mettez vous dans la rue je vous appelle …. A quoi bon réserver alors , même pas une excuse , un verre au bar … rien … ils ont de la chance d’avoir autant de clients

Suggest you choose another place because there are lots of places along this strip for amazing views and great food. Staff are great. Food is ok. But wow the owner is a piece of work. Consider taking your business elsewhere. Support other businesses where they appreciate customers and staff. There are lots of really great places to spend your time and enjoy a better environment.

Locale accogliente ,personale gentile prezzo un pochino alto ma tutto buono

Un bel ristorante dove mangiare a Cefalù. Prezzi però a mio parere troppo esagerati, capisco l'inflazione ma aumentare una pizza da 14€ a 18€ è eccessivo, potrei capirlo se si mangiasse il cibo degli dei ma questo è semplicemente buono e basta. Detto ciò l'esperienza non può essere valutata negativamente.

L’unica cosa che ci è piaciuta di questa experienza era la vista dal tavolo sul tramonto. Ma per quello potevamo benissimo andare a sederci sulle rocce gratis. La pizza era davvero ordinaria, sia nell’impasto che nei condimenti. Servizio ok, anche se mi è stata portata la birra grande invece che la piccola, e mi è stata addebitata una sostituzione in una pizza, senza avvisarmi. Per fortuna quest’ultima cosa sono riuscito a risolverla alla cassa. Non so dire nulla sulla cucina, visto che ho solo preso la pizza, però il pizzaiolo andrebbe addestrato a dovere

Great service, fantastic views at sunset and the food was delicious.

Lovely setting with amazing sunset… food was variable…my seafood risotto and swordfish were excellent! Friends carbonara was great, both of my daughters had steaks… took a while to get them correct… my one went thru 3 steaks to get a medium ( actually ended up medium rare… but the first two were well well done) and my other daughter got served hers rare…. Instead of medium… and ended up with more well done which was fine. Finally my wife, had just ok Norma pasta and meats rolls. They were her least favorite dinner. Staff was as very attentive and did makes things right! Overall… very good place to eat ( but not outstanding).

Food very good but it’s so large and busy that the service is not as good as in every other restaurant I visited in Cefalu across 5 days. Staff were not very attentive.
