i did not understand why i had to rush my dinner despite the reservation i had made since two guests were waiting and other guest who had arrived before me had finished and were just enjoying their wine.

The food was excellent—elevated home cooking. And the restaurant is a very good value. We were placed in the basement at one of two one-tops in a room that was soon completely filled by 22 German visitors. Service was good, once we got the attention of the staff who were serving the group. The heat and noise were intense and barely tolerable. We fled as soon as we could. I won’t go back. Please please put groups in a room by themselves, so others can actually talk to one another at dinner. Thank you!

Less than average food and inattentive service. Been in Italy for 10 days and this was the worst meal.

Overcharged for things. Was very disappointed in experience. Should not have been charged 80 euro for A 30 euro bottle of wine we ordered. Also super rushed. What was that?? So sad this was our last night in Italy. Left a really bad taste in my mouth overall.

The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and I found it fairly priced. Our only complaint was that we had a table downstairs and in a section completely on our own which meant no real atmosphere.

Returned here after 5 years and again were not disappointed! The food and the service were excellent, and Franco was again welcoming guests with a warm handshake and a courteous smile, something very special. Quiet when we got there, the restaurant filled quickly with large parties of families and friends. May it continue its success!

Ottimo locale dove alla tradizionalista’ dei piatti si associa la acquisita accoglienza tipica emiliana delle persone in sala e in cucina. Presente Franco Rossi, che se stimolato racconta fatti e aneddoti fra passato, presente e futuro e si approccia agli ospiti con lo charme e la gentilezza, non usuale, di altri tempi. A quattro passi da Piazza Maggiore. Un bijou da non perdere.

Peccato che non c’è un faccetta più felice e goduriosa perché per quello che ho mangiato, tortellini in brodo di cappone e uno spettacolare semifreddo mandorle ed amaretti affogati dalla cioccolata calda, ci vorrebbe una faccetta con cuori e occhi languidi

Ristorante carino ed elegante con personale pronto e gentilissimo. Però il cibo forse non è all'altezza del servizio ma comunque di qualità. Prezzo naturalmente un po' più alto di un classico ristorante ma tutto giusto.
