Deserves the Michelin star. Quiet, elegant, unobtrusive service. We chose the 8 course with wine pairing. After 3+ hours felt happily full without feeling overstuffed or too much alcohol. Price of about 215 euros about right

Fine dining at its best. A gem of a restaurant, away from the hubbub of the crowded city center, in the authentic quarter of San Frediano. Food was absolutely refined, the wine pairing was amazing. They deserve at least one Michelin star. Fantastic experience!

Un'esperienza indimenticabile, grazie anche all'aiuto di Antonella, complice nel regalarci un momento prezioso per festeggiare il nostro anniversario. Location strepitosa, un vero e proprio viaggio enogastronomico ricco di sapori. Complimenti allo staff e soprattutto anche allo chef, nell'ideare un menù così elaborato e sorprendente. Straconsigliato!!!

Mooi restaurant met verschillende fine dining opties. Wordt weinig bezocht en het voelde bijna als een privé diner, op het Amerikaanse koppel ergens achter ons na, die blijkbaar niet wisten wat duif is en de waarvan de man aangaf dat hij allergisch is voor inktvis ...maar wel alle andere soorten vis kan eten (zeg gewoon dat je geen inktvis wilt, haha) Geweldige presentatie van het eten, het was heerlijk en uitstekend. Vooral de amuse-bouches en mignardise waren heel fijne toevoegingen. Aan het einde kwam de chef zelfs nog even langs om te vragen hoe het eten was, wat getuigd van trots in z'n eten. Wij hadden een geweldige tijd in dit lekkere en mooie restaurant. 5/5!

This is an extraordinary restaurant. We only ordered a la carte and yet we were given the same exceptional treatment, with several extra dishes between courses. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. There were so many things we had never even heard of before - candied capers just one example. I'm gluten free and they were so kind to just remove the gluten part so I could still share everything with my family. This is not an inexpensive experience, but it was absolutely worth it. Just a lovely place and people.

Best meal of the trip so far. The owner and staff are incredibly warm, and the vibe of the entire place is upscale but very comfortable. We did the 4-course meat and fish tastings with cocktail and wine pairings, all excellent. The presentations were fun and the food itself was very tasting. The bartender, Eleanora, who does the pairings is an absolute artist so if you can't get enough of her delicious drinks, make sure to pop into Gune Next Door before and after your meal.

I can’t believe we got a last minute reservation for 8! Our dining experience was amazing and pure magic from start to finish. We did the 6 course tasting menu with pairings. Every bite was delicious. The attention to detail from the plating to the pairings was phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and split the table between the cocktail pairing and the wine so you can try both We were celebrating my Mom’s 80th birthday and it was perfect!

A sublime restaurant with a carefully crafted menu. Heavenly food was wonderfully paired with the wines. Attentive waiting staff completed the whole experience of dining here.

We had an amazing meal. Every part of the meal was exceptional, and the service was wonderful. It’s a lovely, elegant dining room, but not stuffy at all. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were to our family member who has some food allergies and who is a vegetarian.

Staff was very present. There was no one as I arrived very early so the service was super fast. They had a little cake prepared for me as it was my birthday. The chet himself came to wish me a happy birthday too. Thank you very much.

Fantastic food and service We had the 8 course tasting menu. Which when including all the extras was about 13! We have been very lucky to have eaten in 5 other Michelin starred restaurants, and we would definitely say this was deserving of a star. The service was fantastic, the head waiter was charming and friendly man. And his team were great too. Everyone spoke perfect English. My only small recommendation was that the wine pairings, whilst very nice, didn’t have any that “blew my mind” so this is an area of improvements but I couldn’t fault the food. I can only assume the location is (slightly out of the main centre) is what stops it from being impossible to get a table every night.

What a fantastic place. We arrived thinking we’d have the 4 course taster menu but decided to have 8 courses after reading the menu and not wanting to miss out on some great dishes. From the time we sat down to saying our goodbyes we felt incredibly well looked after, valued, and most importantly - loved the food. The staff were attentive, welcoming and friendly throughout. Gunè stands up very well to Michelin star restaurants we’ve visited elsewhere and we’d 100% love to return. If you’re in Florence and appreciate good food - don’t miss out!

The only word to easily define this restaurant is 'bellezza". Everyhing is beauty inside: food, drinks, wine, service and atmosphere. A grat place to spend a great moment. L'unica parola per definire facilmente questo ristorante è "bellezza". Tutto è bellezza all'interno: cibo, bevande, vino, servizio e atmosfera. Un ottimo posto dove trascorrere un bel momento.

Tolles Design mit Wohlfühlambiente Unglaublich netter und professioneller Service ohne Attitüde. Wir hatten ein vegetarisches Menü, daß einem Menü mit Fisch oder Fleisch in nichts nachstand. Alles frisch und kreativ mit ordentlich Omami. Dazu eine exzellente Weinempfehlung. Sternewürdig zu einem wirklich guten Preis. Bitte hingehen - es lohnt sich!! Alexander/Berlin

Wonderful experience and great food. Six course tasting menu was well balanced. The pigeon was terrific and loved the story behind the chef’s inspiration from his grandmother.
