Il Fornillo

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Il Fornillo! The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Although busy we still had great service. Someone even accidentally knocked over our bottle of wine we ordered when passing by and they were kind enough to replace the bottle and offer us a new table cloth even though it wasn't needed. We would highly suggest this to anyone looking for something delicious to eat in Positano that's not on the main strip.

Great food with a great view! Further away from the main area of Positano so less expensive and without the hustle and bustle. Had dinner here two nights in a row.

Food was very good. The fish was excellent. Pizzas were good. Fish appetizer were also very good. I think that our waiter was new at the restaurant so the quality of the service was uneven. I would suggest the restaurant take more time in training new employees. Having said that we had a good meal and had a great time. Definitely would recommend.

This restaurant is a nice change of pace from the typical beach restaurants. The food is gorgeous and the atmosphere is quiet and romantic.

Fantastic food! Risotto with prawn and lemon was out of this world. Also had the zucchini flower appetizer- two thumbs up! Nice view and ambience, too!!!

I reserved this restaurant for dinner as it was quite close to the hotel we stayed at and it turned out to be a great choice. They served tasty twisted bread sticks in olive oil before the meal and I really liked the home made pasta with scallops and mussels. The mussel stew for appetizer and panna cotta for desert were brilliant. The atmosphere was also quite pleasant. However, the service got rather slow during peak hours, so I recommend to go there early, say, before 7pm if possible.
