Just down a side street away from the business of Firenze in the evening is this wonderful dining experience. We sat outside and the service was first rate! My husband enjoyed a Florentine steak for the first time and it was fabulous! Danon (spelling?) was both attentive and super helpful with our wine and meal selections. I loved my pici pasta dish just delectable!

Personale delizioso, gentile e professionale. Cibo ottimo, dall'antipasto, ai primi e ai secondi. Posizione ottima, in pieno centro ma in una piazzetta tranquilla.

Ero stata in questo ristorante un paio di anni fa e rimanendone piacevolmente colpita in questa occasione di ritorno a Firenze non ho avuto dubbi su dove andare a cena. Cibo ottimo e personale attento

Great service and great food. Steak and risotto was perfect!

The food was great. We had the filet with truffle and porcini mushrooms and veal with truffle cream. They treat meat right!!! Service was fabulous.

Das Essen im Restaurante Buca Poldo war sehr gut. Das Risotto mit Zucchetti und Minze war ausgezeichnet. Meine Frau meint, dass sie die beste Petto d'Anatra seit je gegessen hat. Meine Tagliata war sehr zart. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

First and foremost, we had the privilege of being served by an amazing waitress, who went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Then the food... it was fresh and delicious. Could not believe how tasty and soft was the Tiramissu. We really enjoyed the experience!

Overall the experience was great! The wine selection was impressive - so many to choose from. My boyfriend and I split two dishes - the spinach ravioli and the beef filet with a side of roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious!!! The waitress was so sweet, she gave us recommendations for where to travel next. Great service!

Our waiter was very helpful with suggestions and was attentive. Owner even came over & checked on us. We ate outside.

Dog barking from patron most of dinner. Did not have wine on menu..felt a little bait and switch.…dinner was good. Supposed to be a locals place but they were aggressive asking for gratuity.

We found the food and wine both to be mediocre. There are so many other good restaurants in Florence, try somewhere else before booking here.

It’s was a great place with great food but the people next to us were snobby and very difficult with the wait staff and then complained about their family estate the whole meal.

Traditional Florentine restaurant just three blocks north of Ponte Vecchio. My wife and I had dinner there because of favorable on-line reviews, and then returned a couple of times later in the week because we liked the place. Cooking skillful and reliable. Atmosphere pleasant. Staff friendly and fluent in English. (And tolerant when we ordered in Italian!)

It was a wonderful experience. We would love to come back again
