Overall this is a lovely restaurant in a lovely setting and the food is excellent. My only criticism is that there was some confusion over menus and prices. When we arrived and asked if we could have the set fish menu we were told it had to be ordered in advance so we couldn't have it. It does in fact say this in the small print on the restaurant website but because I booked on a recommendation and through Quandoo this was not mentioned at the time of booking so I didn't know. When I mentioned this to the waitress she said as we had booked through Quandoo we could have the fish menu. Great but not really sure why that was the case. Also the website said the fish menu was 35 euros a head including wine and water. The actual menu at the restaurant said it was 40 euros. We were actually charged 50 euros. When I queried it the waiter said it was because our party had two extra bottles of wine. Nowhere on any of their literature does it say that there is a limit to the amount of water and wine you can have. It was unnamed house wine, which is usually limitless in these circumstances in Italy. And the waitress just kept bringing it without mentioning there was an extra charge. Anyway we paid the bill but were not happy that we felt we had been misled. Not sure we would go again based on that. It was worth 40 euros a head but not 50.

A very good experience with a professional touch to both food and service. The ambiance and the venue itself make a visit very pleasurable. Un'ottima esperienza con un tocco professionale sia per il cibo che per il servizio. L'atmosfera e il luogo stesso rendono la visita molto piacevole.

Era molto tempo che non ritornavo a Villa Brignole, ho ritrovato una cucina ottima personale cortese e preparato a ogni richiesta, penso domenica di ritornarci, consiglio vivamente.

Très bel endroit, accueil sympathique et professionnel, et très bonne cuisine. Le petit plus : le propriétaire produit son propre vin, testez le ! Pour notre part nous sommes répartis avec 2 bouteilles et nous reviendrons si nous avons un jour l'occasion de revenir dans cette magnifique région.

A hidden gem of a place. Beautiful classy food. Owners and staff extremely hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend when you want to eat something other than “traditional” Lunigianese food

Cucina che valorizza ad altissimi livelli la tipicità dei prodotti locali. Fra gli ottimi vini, si possono trovare i migliori vini Doc ed Igt locali pluripremiati dalla costa all' entroterra lunigianese. Location storica molto curata immersa nel verde
