Restaurant was very busy. When restaurant owner / manager realized we were forgotten at the end of our meal, he quickly sent waiter with complementary limoncello & crostata. 😊😋

Loved the food here. I really enjoy seafood so I was glad the tonnarelli allo scoglio was delicious. My partner had the ravioli and enjoyed it as well.

This is the most amazing food, & atmosphere. We were in Rome a few weeks ago and went twice and on return it was the first restaurant we went to. The food is fresh & clean, the people & staff are so lovely and it is more than value for money. Highly recommend 😀

Nous avons fait plein de restaurants et pour le dernier soir avons réservé celui ci, il n'est définitivement pas bon. Le service est médiocre et les pâtes aux champignons immangeables. Ce n'est pas une adresse que nous recommandons.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight at La Taverna dei Monti…. perhaps the best lasagna we’ve ever had, and we’ve had a lot! Delicious minestrone with rice soup and panna cotta, too. The service was friendly and attentive and prices were very reasonable for the quality. We have already reserved another night for dinner.

The most reasonably priced and tasty meal we had all holiday. It’s very no frills and old skool traditional Italian. Don’t expect pandering service, modern decor but the staff are pretty efficient, my fish was filleted in front of me, they have skills that I suspect are passed down as it’s a generation to generation family unwed business. Minestrone soup was excellent, sea bass perfectly cooked and wine in simple glass jugs. The whole bill for 4 was 100 euros which in Rome is. We booked when it opened at 7, but 8 it was full inside and out.

I had oxtail and my wife had a mixed seafood plate. Both were well prepared at a reasonable price. I also really enjoyed the sautéed chicory side dish.
