The most reasonably priced and tasty meal we had all holiday. It’s very no frills and old skool traditional Italian. Don’t expect pandering service, modern decor but the staff are pretty efficient, my fish was filleted in front of me, they have skills that I suspect are passed down as it’s a generation to generation family unwed business. Minestrone soup was excellent, sea bass perfectly cooked and wine in simple glass jugs. The whole bill for 4 was 100 euros which in Rome is. We booked when it opened at 7, but 8 it was full inside and out.

I had oxtail and my wife had a mixed seafood plate. Both were well prepared at a reasonable price. I also really enjoyed the sautéed chicory side dish.
