Una delusione. Lunedi sera e le scelte erano pochissime (praticamente la meta del menu non era disponibile) La pasta e arrivata subito e sembrava precotta. La carne era buona ma la porzione troppo piccola. Troppo costoso per quello Che offre.

We had a nice quiet dinner here. Enjoyed tripe and scallopini, both were wonderful. Had house wine, great dessert and starters. Overall, very nice homey meal.

This restaurant is trading on a good reputation earned a long time ago, faded old photographs of past famous diners are testimony to this. A fine dining experience was not expected, rather good honest home cooking. However, the food was nothing special, and many other trattorias in the area would have served better food at a more reasonable price. The sides were served much much earlier than the main, and ended up cold, not even room temperature. This restaurant is much over hyped and a huge disappointment. The table wine was quite good but we asked for a litre and was given two litres that wasn't drunk, yet charged for. Not being listened to was a red flag straight up. The saving grace was the pannacotta dessert which was excellent. I wouldn't recommend, nor ever dine there again.

La vera fiorentnina, veramente eccezionale. Ottimo anche il vino sfuso, le verdure e la crema di mascarpone. I cellulari sono inutilizzabili, sia per assenza di segnale (bene, nessuno rompe) che per divieto da menu ("Il trillo dei cellulari disturba la cottura della ribollita"). Veramente top.

I have been invited several times to this restaurant, always with people who wanted to impress me. And they impressed me. This time, it was my turn to impress people, si I didnt think it twice, took them to Coco Lezzone and guess what: i impressed them too.
