Amazing dinner at Ai Fiori. Maria and Alberto were fantastic hosts, the food incredible, wine list excellent (had the Slovenian Movia Malva), and ambiance just right. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re ever in Trieste!!
Es war ein herrlicher Abend auf der Terrasse des Restaurants. Das Essen und die Weine waren köstlich. Der Service war freundlich und unkompliziert.

We ordered a sea bream. They delivered a grey mullet that was dry, stringy and over-cooked. The proprietress tried it and thought it was fine. Enough said.
Food was of good quality and service was fine too. The only disappointment was the cover charge of €4 per person. Whilst I understand this os common practice in Italy I consider €4 per personistoo much.

Sehr nettes Restaurant, mit gutem Essen. Insgesamt war das Menu aber etwas zu sehr mit Cremen und Pürees begleitet.
