La Fata Ignorante: Rooftop Restaurant & Bar

Fantastic restaurant with a lovely rooftop dinning experience. Trust the recommendations of your waiter. Ours was right on! The focaccia, the fried shrimp, the cured meat sampler(❤️), then the eggplant ravioli and the octopus!! All this not to mention the wonderful craft cocktails before❤️ We will be back next time in Rome. The value was amazing!

A birthday meal, close to my hotel. Normally would not spend this amount but hey 70 years!. I enjoyed the meal. The peach 'crumble' did not have caramelised fruit but never mind.

For starters... aaaaaamazing service from the beautiful very knowledgeable about everything down to the exact wines to go with each dish Veronica and the other beautiful staff...top notch first class service... the roof top bar was so organically unique with fruit trees and flower pots everywhere... then lets talk about the food...it was beyond delicious and the wine selection pairing was spectacular and omg the desserts...dooooo save room for all the desserts...we had the absolutely most delicious souffle and also a peaches and ice cream dessert that was bar none amazing and they served me another dessert and the whole place sang happy birthday to me...it was more than I could have dreamed. Go... run... eat there... you will dream about it the next day like we did...we are going back before we leave our trip! Ps...we didn't know it was at the top of a hotel...so now you know!

Très bon accueil et aucune attente mais nous avions réservé. Service rapide, les plats étaient absolument délicieux et très bien présentés. Ambiance avec fond musical mais juste ce qu il faut. Joli rooftop, il manque un peu de vue mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de profiter de notre soirée en famille.

Locale accogliente, curato nei dettagli, ma sopratutto personale gentile e disponibile alla scelta del tavolo migliore come pure per il suggerimento dei piatti da assaggiare e il vino da bere. Personale competente. Bellissima esperienza da ripetere e suggerire.

Lovely meal and surroundings, staff really nice and made it a nice night.

We arrived before the restaurant was busy. Ordered a fairly pricey bottle of wine and ordered food. One diner's appetizer was never served. The server repeated the order when given, so we are unsure where the problem occurred. We a lot of trouble getting attention from the staff to report the problem. Asked for the item to be cancelled. When main courses were served, the steak was cooked well done (medium was requested). Server said little when the item was delivered and we had to once again chase down a staff member to report the steak was overcooked. Was told it would be 30 minutes to re-fire the dish. We passed on the do-over. Ended up with the original appetizer that was a C- in taste and preparation. Received some credits, but the meal was a disappointment overall. One diner had a B+ experience. C- for the second.

Very nice restaurant with super friendly service and great food

Lovely staff who were welcoming and sat us at a good table on the terrace. Egg starter was delicious. Main of beef cheek was really good Dessert of peach with crumble was a bit disappointing, peach hard which the flavour in my opinion

We had to wait until the next day to get a reservation, but the food was really good. The staff were nice.

Fantastic from start to finish. The service was phenomenal and at the right pace. The food was inventive and delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful in the rooftop garden. Highly recommend!

Our dinner here was amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the food was delicious. One of the Owners took the time to speak with us about our meal, our vacation, and the restaurant.

Gianluca responded to my emails and special request very quickly. He was very helpful and the staff are very kind. Had some lovely dishes.

Carbonara was quite salty (maybe pasta boiling water was too salty when considering guanciale and pecorino). Roasted octopus was well prepared but please consider leaving all the spices away because octopus was not tasting of it. Chicken was overcooked, sauce was however delicious. Dessert side - if you are serving fruits - please make sure that they are ripe enough, nectarine was too hard and untasty.

Ce n’était pas une mauvaise expériences les pâtes étaient bonne, en revanche l’entrée plutôt décevante. Les serveurs sont très gentil mais pas suffisamment organisé le service est lent.

This was for a special birthday, and there were some lovely elements here, but also some major failings. It took nearly 80 minutes to be served our starter, which they did apologise for. In the meantime we ended up with some apologies and discretions, but the service was not resolved by the time the main was eventually served and we were left trying to ask staff to serve us drinks. The food was good when it finally arrived. I asked twice for the bill, waited 10 minutes and then by the time I went up to pay, they said they were bringing me a candle, but this was too late again. I think this place could be really great with some clear systems and one waiter serve per table accountable systems. I don’t expect to wait 10 minutes for a bill after a few service errors and have 3 waiters laying up a table next to me and feeling ignored. There’s some work to do here, but this place could be great.
