La Posteria Praiano

The staff was wonderful and the chef came out to thank our party if 4 for enjoying his restaurant. The meals are excellent and our group are there twice during our stay. During our meal the owner stopped in to scold the staff. I don’t know why this happened mid service but the staff was visibly shaken.

We were put in a small hot room with little charm. The appetisers were very good. The venison was excellent. However the duck pasta tasted only of onions. We were not offered dessert or coffee before receiving the bill. Overall a mediocre experience.

The staff and food was incredible. We did house wine and it did not disappoint- absolutely delicious. We did all 4 courses - beef carpaccio - Napoletano ragu - and the local t bone steak and a crème brulèe Everything was soooo good!!! It was nice to get some protein in after eating lots of pasta and seafood, the chef is outstanding and the service inside was as well. 10/10

What a find!!! We found this by accident, just walking by and thought it was a pretty view as the sun was setting. This place is surprising! From the exceptional service to the excellent food and wine. I had the special and my partner had the burger (we both had the lava cake dessert). It is blissfully away from the crowds which made it quiet and all the more enjoyable. Will definitely recommend.

We had a lovely meal here on our last night in Praiano. The staff were really attentive and we got some great recommendations and explanations of the menu from our waiter who took the time to chat with us. Food was delicious. We just wish we had discovered La Posteria earlier in our stay. Thank you for a memorable evening.
