Loved the place. I’ve been there twice. Excellent food, atmosphere, attentive staff and great Prosecco. The only negative impression I had was about the last waiter ‘insinuating’ too much about tips after me spending €100 there. Had to give it .. Made me feel uncomfortable, but I understand. It’s only one individual / behavior. Thanks a lot Tassy

Good food, extremely slow service which we usually welcome however this dinner took over an hour for our main dish. The waiter never checked on us either.

The Maitre D was excellent when we first arrived. The food and ambience were also excellent. However, there were several times when our waiter didn't help us for 30 minutes or so. Therefore, we might return because of the foot, but the restaurant needs to figure out how to better serve its customers..

L'Abate has a welcoming and fun atmosphere in the evening if one is looking for a restaurant with musical entertainment. The staff is attentive and the management welcoming. The menu at L'Abate is fairly standard but generally well executed. I had risotto with shrimp and it was cooked correctly. L'Abate may not be a gourmet experience but it accomplishes it's niche very well.

Really good meal for the second time during our holiday. One slight issue with a meal not being as hot as we would like which was very quickly dealt with.

Mixed smoked fish was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive and efficient even though it was very busy. We really enjoyed our experience at L'Abate.

Very busy restaurant with good vibe. Excellent food and highly recommended. The salmon gnochetti is very good and my daughter says the pizza was the best she had in Sorrento.
