We really loves the restaurant! The beach and the view is amazing! The food and the service was very great! The only problem was that they told us that we cant swim in the private beach but we swam anyway because we was eating and drinking in the restaurant!
Perfect!! beautiful view. Great food friendly attentive staff Highly recommend. Get some sun beds and spend the whole day. Highlight of our trip to Praiano.
il menu e ottimo gusto buonissimo e il prezzo caro ma il cameriere e stato molto gentile davvero perfetto questo il posto particolare e bellissimo mi piace tanto anche aria purezza ottimo etc... questo una grande ristorante il Pirata....
Wonderful menu and food, a good wine list, a great setting and very professional service make this a great spot for lunch or dinner. Reservations required. Tip: If coming from Positano take the water taxi!
Siamo stati altre volte al "pirata", ma fuori stagione. Questa è stata la prima a fine luglio. Cucina sempre di livello, ma servizio e ubicazione (tavolo al sole in cui era impossibile resistere; siamo riusciti a spostarci solo dopo parecchie rimostranze). Folla e passaggio fra i tavoli anche di bagnanti. Sempre incantevole il posto. I prezzi, come sempre non sono popolari.
The food (Spouse and I had fish) was good but not exceptional. Beautiful setting but can be windy and a bit hard to find...they need better signs to location. Easily reached walking thru Villa Corralium/Onda Verde

This restaurant was amazing! It was my daughter's 30th birthday and I wrote an email to let them know and they surprised her with the best table in the house and then for dessert surprised us all with a cake made of 4 small cakes (we were 4 people!) with a giant sparkler on top and the wait staff and owner all singing Happy Birthday in Italian and then English while the songs played over the speaker system! Everyone in the restaurant joined in, singing along and clapping. Our waiter was the most excited, waving his hands and singing loudly! I think they were all so excited to make it a special evening for my daughter which she later said was the best birthday dinner she ever had! Thanks to everyone at Il Pirata for a wonderful evening!!!!!
Even though we booked months ago and advised them it was our anniversary, we were seated by the walkway squashed against an other diner. Constantly barged into by other diners and staff. Food was ok but nothing special. Would not recommend to anyone.
Great food and atmosphere and staff are extremely friendly. Extensive wine list is daunting but definitely ask your waiter for a recommendation. A must visit for anyone staying on the Amalfi Coast
