Arrogant hostess checks our reservation and orders us upstairs! Go upstairs, you are table number 50. I should have walked out right there. The waiter who was rushed and impatient was visibly perturbed that I dare order the fish special, this is fresh, local fish madame, not farm raised, it’s for 2 people! I must say, the rest of the wait staff that served us was alot friendlier and the food was quite good with generous portions. Skip the house wine if you go, it was horrible

Very authentic Italian food in a restaurant of traditional decor. Very warmly welcomed and service was excellent.

We had a delicious dinner at Zi Ntonio including the pizza bread, fried calamari with red peppers and zucchini (which sounded a little odd honestly but worked incredibly well), the zucchini blossoms which were stuffed with ricotta cheese (delicious but very filling) and a fresh tomato and basil salad to start. The Sorrento tomatoes were in season and right off the vine. Sooooo good and simply prepared with EVO oil, basil leaves and a touch of salt. Very large portions so we made a big dent but didn’t finish. For mains we had the Risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms (so soft and delicate) and the cod filet served over fresh more fresh tomatoes. We don’t finish the risotto which was prepared fresh (as it should be) but it was delicious albeit a bit too al dente as the broth did not fully absorb. The dish was made with pecorino cheese which can sometimes be a bit forward but absolutely worked perfectly in this dish. I ate all the cod despite being (nearly) uncomfortably full. Cod can be tricky and overcooked to chewy (or worse) but this one was great and with the fresh tomatoes was truly outstanding. I finished EVERYTHING on my plate which rarely happens. The lemon delight for dessert completed a truly wonderful meal and had just enough fresh lemon without being overpowering. The sponge cake and white cream went very well together. Great meal, venue and wait staff.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We ended up going twice during our five night visit to Sorrento. The food was delicious and the portions were large. They also had amazing dessert especially the lemon delight.

Ristorante accogliente, personale molto gentile, piatti semplici ma preparati con cura e le porzioni sono molto abbondanti . E uno dei pochi ristoranti di sorrento dove ancora puoi andare a cena con la famiglia senza essere trattato da turista, per noi che siamo del posto ormai è diventato quasi un miraggio andare a mangiare decentemente in un ristorante e non venire assassinato.
