The Court Cocktail Bar

We had heard about this place on an Instagram post and knew that we had to go for the lovely view in the evening of the Colosseum! What was even cooler, in my opinion, was that the bar overlooks the ruins of the main gladiator training school! The cocktails, while on the pricier side (€25+), are thoroughly thought out by the mixologists there and were really great! And the olives and nuts that they provide were fresh and delicious! We got the latest timeslot at 11:45pm And it was a great way to cap off our last night on our trip to Rome!

Great experience However during the sitting 6-8 the sun was very much in your face. But in general if the degrees goes up by 2 3 more Celsius then the experience will not be so good.

Atmosphere was top notch. We got the best viel on the Collosseum ever. The staff was professional, very accomodating, empathetic and friendly. When it comes to the drinks, 💯 % recommended. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience.

Really loved the Court! We had a great view on the Colosseum, the cocktails were amazing and so were the complimentary foods. Had a great night and would recommend this to anyone.

The survey is in Italian so I don't understand much I just can say it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was great, the waiters were nice, food and drinks were absolutely delicious

Did not feel particularly welcome. Had to wait outside the hotel on the street. A glass of wine was €25 so really rather expensive. Was given 1hr 30 mins then asked to leave for next people were arriving.

Having visited The Court several times in the past, this last experience was incredibly disappointing from the very start of being turned away at door until the exact time of reservation. We would have preferred to come in early and enjoy extra cocktails at The Court, rather than find another location for one drink. Upon arrival our view was continuously disrupted for the first 50 minutes by other tables in front of us taking non-stop photos, even backing into our table several times while taking photos of each other. We did not come here to be interrupted by photoshoots nonstop. Service was fine, the staff were pleasant. However The experience and atmosphere were not enjoyable.

Incredible experience. Worth the trip especially at night. Highly recommend.

The view and snacks were fantastic. The service was also great; however, I have to rate this lower on scale because they served an alcoholic beverage to my husband, who is In recovery (10 years sober). This wasn’t confirmed until after my husband asked twice before sipping then tried the drink and asked again several times to confirm if the drink was indeed N/A. Later in the evening the server came back to let us know the bartender made a mistake and served whiskey. They did comp our drink without us asking. So overall service was good but that’s a grave mistake that could have gone really wrong.

Hands down, one of the most amazing settings for cocktails. The Staff were so friendly, the finger foods were incredible, and the view was unbeatable. Well worth it when in Rome.

Ich war vor kurzem in dieser Rooftop Bar und muss sagen, dass es eine der schlechtesten Erfahrungen war, die ich je gemacht habe. Die Getränke waren einfach ungenießbar. Es schien, als ob die Zutaten entweder alt oder von minderer Qualität waren. Kein Cocktail hat geschmeckt, wie er sollte, und selbst die einfachsten Mixgetränke waren ein Reinfall. Die Preise hingegen waren astronomisch hoch, was die schlechte Qualität der Getränke noch unerträglicher machte. Für das, was wir bezahlt haben, hätte man wirklich erstklassige Getränke erwarten können, aber das Gegenteil war der Fall. Die Kellner waren so lala. Nicht wirklich unfreundlich, aber auch nicht besonders aufmerksam oder hilfsbereit. Insgesamt war der Service bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Ich werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen und kann diese Bar niemandem empfehlen. Wer auf der Suche nach einem tollen Rooftop-Erlebnis ist, sollte sich besser woanders umsehen.

The drinks were incredible. The vibe was amazing. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this place 10/10. You would call yourself lucky if you could get a reservation.

Beautiful bar, decent and friendly service, nice view of the Colosseum, interesting cocktails and snacks and worth a visit. My only complaints are that although they are pushing for some kind of smart outfit, there are all kinds of outfits тхере (slippers, open sandals, sneakers and so on) so they lose their integrity with that even if you gave your all yourself to appear according to their email guidelines. My other complaint is that it is completely illogical that such a restaurant has only one miniature toilet for which you have to wait in line. Pointless really...

This bar is one of the best I've been in my life, probably the best. Not only you have an amazing view tu ruins and the colloseum, but you also get some great drinks, great food and the service was impecable, they were so nice, warm and spoke in a lot of different languages! This place is worth every cent!
