My experience was far from what I anticipated. Right from the start, the service was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an abrupt request to wait outside in the hot sun instead of being welcomed inside. This poor first impression set the tone for the evening. The staff were cold and unwelcoming—no smiles or friendly gestures, which is surprising for a venue that boasts about being a Michelin 2025 establishment. With such high expectations for service, I found their attitude incredibly off-putting. While the bar has an amazing view and offers great cocktails, the steep prices you pay should warrant a much higher level of service.

Location bellissima, cocktail molto buoni . La parte food lascia decisamente l’amaro in bocca , due mandorle ed olive e patatine. L’ultima volta che avevo visitato il posto si poteva mangiare qualche cosa in più .. peccato.

Très beau cadre, très bel endroit avec la vue sur le Colisée. Toutefois, je trouve cela assez cher, notamment le fait d'imposer une formule aux clients. Pour moi, les clients devraient avoir le choix de boire qu'une seule boisson s'ils le souhaiter. Imposer deux boissons est quand même assez étonnant.

The service was terrible. Everyone comes in at the same time instead of staggering the times. This leads to the whole restaurant ordering drinks at the same time. The restaurant gives you 2 hours and you have to order 2 drinks. We didn’t get our second drink until 15 minutes before we had to leave. The drinks were good and so was the view but that does not out weigh the service.

Never again — discriminatory, overpriced, and rude I had a genuinely disappointing experience at this place in Rome, and I feel it’s important to warn others especially solo travelers. From the moment I arrived, the difference in treatment was obvious. As a solo guest, I wasn’t allowed to sit in front of the Colosseum like others. Instead, I was pushed to the bar area, even though I was fully intending to order and pay just like everyone else. It felt like I was being punished for not being in a group or couple a clear case of discriminatory service. Even though I mentioned in my booking I would like to be seated in from of the coliseum upon arrival I was put at the bar and when I asked I was told it’s only for two people so if you sing someone else you can. What a joke. The drinks were another joke entirely. They come filled with massive chunks of ice so much that the actual drink is barely a third of the glass. When I asked for no ice, they served it in a tiny glass instead, clearly showing that they’re more interested in presentation tricks than actually offering decent value. The staff were rude and dismissive from the start, and the service overall was cold and unwelcoming. No matter what you pay, the experience as a solo customer is not the same and that’s completely unfair. Honestly, you’d be better off grabbing a drink elsewhere nearby and enjoying the view on your own terms. This place is all looks, no soul and I won’t be going back.

Everything was great, service, drinks, snacks and atmosphere. The issue we had was, my wife (and we were celebrating our anniversary) wanted to go to this place and we made a reservation. Hustled there to meet our time. To only be told we have to wait in the line. Why did we make the reservation? My wife was upset and it ruined our night because we “missed the sunset” due to the line.

We were looking forward to this as we were celebrating two special occasions (my boyfriends 30th and our anniversary) however upon arrival we had to queue even though we had a reservation booked, after queuing we were turned away as they said my boyfriend wasn’t dressed smart enough, he was wearing trousers, a shirt and some Birkenstock style sandals. In 33 degree heat we found this to be quite shocking. Very disappointed. ☹️

Wir mussten ca. 15 Minuten vor der Reservierung da sein, damit wir einen guten Platz bekommen, was aber nicht weiter schlimm ist, wenn man es weiß. Die Preise sind sehr teuer, dafür hat man bei einem guten Platz aber einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Kolloseum und eine hervorragende Bedienung. Außerdem gab es zu den Cocktails Snacks, was den Preis zwar immer noch teuer bleiben lässt, dieser dennoch in ein etwas überdurchschnittliches Verhältnis rückt. Der Besuch hat sich definitiv gelohnt und ich würde wiederkommen.

In generale è tutto molto carino. Le due note negative sono che chi è seduto dietro, non vede bene il colosseo, l’altra è che è assurdo pagare €70 un bicchierino di Blue Label, quando una bottiglia costa circa €250, potevo capire se il prezza era €30, tra la vista colosso, anche se la posizione non è delle migliori, servizio etc, ma €70 mi sembra esagerato! Altra nota negativa è che una volta prenotato, se disdici dentro le 24h prima della orario fissato, si prelevano come penale €66 a persona. Un aperitivo standard costa €27, quindi si prendono come fosse per 3 volte. Sinceramente, la prossima volta mi compro una bottiglia, vado di fronte al colosseo e mi siedo per strada, è più vicino, si vede meglio, faccio delle foto fantastiche. Sono state servite mandorle tostate, olive verdi e patatine, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più ricco da mangiare.

! DO NOT BOTHER! The positive is that view is pretty. That’s it. €27 for a drink that’s actually 1/8th full when you take the ice out, as the first photo shows, it’s a shot size. I hadn’t taken a sip yet. The pizza they give as nibbles is a tortilla with some sauce on, not even worth paying the €55 per person to get the nibbles. The “espresso tini “ was just vodka with some liquor….. no espresso in it at all. An attempt to have their own cocktail with clearly no cocktail knowledge…. Coming from someone who has cocktail training. So disappointing as it’s shown to be this amazing bar, and it’s clear the staff are uncomfortable about it because they have to serve people who are all muttering the same. “What a waste of money”. You watch people get up and leave after the first drink. 2 tables did in the time slot we were there. How can you Fathom charging €27 for this baffles me. If you get sat at the back of bar, you don’t have a view anyways. I don’t leave reviews but I wish I’d checked the reviews before I booked here. I now understand why they have a €130 cancellation fee…. So people don’t cancel after realising it’s a complete scam. It’s not even that close to the Collaseum. Don’t go here. To the restaurant…. You need to change it

Absolutely amazing bar! The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, with a lovely chilled vibe throughout. The views of the Colosseum are truly stunning – such a unique backdrop for a drink or two. Cocktails were excellent, beautifully made and presented. A perfect place to unwind in the heart of Rome. Highly recommend!

This was one of our favourite experiences in Rome! The drinks were amazing and unique, the snacks provided were perfect, the ambience/atmosphere/music were so subtle and chic, and of course the view was amazing. It was a beautiful evening and an experience I would recommend to anyone visiting Rome!

I had a wonderful experience. The only negative would be perhaps that the drinks seemed not as strong as one would have hoped. But then again it was a very warm day so maybe for the best :).

Definitely worth the visit! Absolutely amazing service, drinks, food and atmosphere. We had the best night enjoying the view of the colosseum.

When we arrived my husband and I asked if we could sit near friends who had a table of four. We were told no. Although our seats were directly adjacent to four other seats. Our friends were seated and the four seats between us date empty for a bit. There is no reason we couldn't have been seated near one another. I will say that when another couple left early we were able to move to their seats for a more upfront view which was nice but why not do everything possible to accommodate your guests?

The great is the view! It’s the main draw to this bar, the good was the mixology, good cocktails with some localized twists. Unfortunately the service was flat, the presentation of the drinks were lack luster and the service staff was overall low energy. For the prices that they are charging, they should train their staff better.

Muy buenas vistas, cocteles buenos y sorprendentes. El aperitivo muy completo y de la carta tacos y rollitos que comimos sabrosísimos. En cuanto al personal, todos miy ayentos peto en especial la camarera que nos atendió que hablada español que nos dio recomendaciones tanto con la comida como los cocteles. Super amable y sonriente! Una gran experiencia!!!!

As a Michelin-starred bar, I had high expectations for both the service and overall experience. Unfortunately, the service fell short — waiting over 30 minutes for each drink felt excessive, especially considering the premium prices. It was also disappointing to have to request water from three different staff members before it arrived. The seating could have been more comfortable as well. That said, the stunning view of the Colosseum added a memorable touch to the evening and helped balance out some of the shortcomings.

Absolutely ripping people off... if you want to pay after the drinks for 27euro / drink each you get told that you have to order at least 2 drinks per person... and that after you had to wait in a 20 meter long line with a reservation ... absolutely bad ... too expensive and not worth what you get... the cocktail was more ice cubes than anything else... just don't go here ... Rip-off!!!!
