We were recommended Trattoria Sant’Agnostino by a friend who visited Florence from the UK - they said it was the best meal they had ever had. My wife and I visited following this recommendation - it was the best meal we have ever had.

Atmosphere was relaxed and casual without feeling unrefined. Extremely friendly service that assisted our limited Italian. Menus in English made it easy for us and the kids. The food? Amazing. Local flavors with a nice variety. The local florentine beef is to die for. Would recommend over and over.

Ottimi i primi, meno i secondi, per la bistecca fritta sembra sia necessario prenotare, quindi non abbiamo potuto provarla, poi però è stata proposta ad un tavolo vicino.

Tutto buonissimo, i camerieri super disponibili e simpatici. Preparatissimi per consigliarti al meglio! Consiglio ovviamente la Fiorentina (a peso, ti fanno scegliere anche il pezzo di carne prima di cuocerla) e il vino rosso che propongono loro nelle mini fiaschette (che si possono anche acquistare per portarle a casa)

We've been here four times before between 2015 and 2019 and it was seriously worse this time. We won't be back. The tagliere was much more expensive and less quantity. The suckling pig was hardly any meat and all scratchings. My wife's dessert had to go back twice as it was still frozen. Young waiters were not very knowledgable. Very disappointing, and not cheap for the money.

We spent three nights in Florence and had dinner here twice. The food was excellent, the service friendly, the prices reasonable. Without exaggeration, the best dinner experience of the past year.
