We visited several restaurants in Rome during our visit but La Vecchio Roma was our favorite experience. The owners and staff are customer friendly and the food focused on authenticity with fresh ingredients and proper preparation. As visitors to the city, we felt welcomed and appreciated.

Leuke locatie. We waren met 6 personen. 3 hebben lekker gegeten en 3 minder lekker. Ach ja over smaak valt niet te twisten.

Ho scelto l'espressione GRANDE perché incredibile reca con se una certa ambiguità, e dunque l'aggettivo usato penso che renda merito fino in fondo ai pregi che la VECCHIA ROMA possiede: pietanze buone, disponibilità dai tratti familiari e la simpatia. Non è la prima incursione che mia moglie ed io, napoletani, facciamo in quel luogo e sicuramente non l'ultimo. Un consiglio? Se riuscite a trovare posto non perdetevi l'occasione! Francesco.

Cibo tipico romano buono! Porzioni super abbondanti 🤩 ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! In tre abbiamo ordinato tre primi e due bottiglie d’acqua, per stemperare l’attesa ci hanno portato (senza averle ordinate) tre bruschette e 1focaccia con porchetta, in tutto abbiamo speso 60€. Diciamo che quando ti portano qualcosa di non ordinato ci si aspetta che sia un omaggio, invece ce l’hanno fatto pagare anche se con un ottimo sconto. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene. personale simpatico

Absolutely overrated restaurant. After a thousands of positive reviews, we wanted to give it a try. Big mistake. The food was terrible - probably the worst pasta I have ever eaten. Overall experience: they look at you as a walking wallet. Definitely not recommending it.

We made reservations specifically for the cheese wheel (put the pasta on the cheese to melt it), but were told upon arrival that it is now "illegal" to do it. We decided to stay; the food was really good & we were happy with our decision, just disappointed it's advertised online & not offered.

eravamo alla ricerca di un locale in cui si respirasse tradizione. Non penso che ci siano locali migliori di questo che rispondano alle nostre volontà in Roma. Favoloso. Cibo strepitoso, ottima qualità/prezzo, locale poco turistico, molto vero! Ci è stato consigliato e lo consiglieremo!

The food was not as expected, staff was rude, and did not like the way you pay your bill. No receipt, they just take to the corner where you have to pay the total amount without itemization.
