Wonderful restaurant hidden in a quiet corner in Venice, and the service was top notch (especially for someone who's not well-versed in Italian). The food was great as well and possibly my favorite meal in Venice.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, la serveuse a insisté pour nous installer sur la terrasse alors qu’il pleuvait et que plusieurs tables étaient libres à l’intérieur. La table qu’elle nous a attribuée était la moins bien protégée de pluie et j’ai pu constater que les chaises étaient trempées. Malgré tout, on a refusé de nous placer à l’intérieur. Nous sommes donc partis et avons dîné ailleurs, où nous avons été mieux reçus. C’est la première fois que j’ai été aussi mal accueilli en arrivant dans un restaurant.

La posizione è ottima, in una deliziosa piazzetta a Cannareggio defilata dai grandi flussi turistici. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi antipasti della laguna e degli ottimi dolci. I piatti hanno quel quid di creativo che rende tutto più gradevole.

Amazing experience. Beautifully uncomplicated food cooked exceptionally well. Settingtransports you to a tranquil village-like setting far from the thronging Venice crowds. Great service... friendly, informative, only too happy to help with a smile. More than highly recommended. A must go when you are in Venice. And all at a VERY reasonable price.
