To put this in perspective, we love Memmo's. We lived in Rome for a few months and visited regularly. It was above all, our favourite restaurant! Today was likely our last visit, but if you are looking for an Italian icon, with charm, good food, reasonable prices and great service - go.

We loved Osteria De Memmo. We were lucky enough to be seated in a quieter back room which suited us just fine. We had tagliolini cacio e pepe, tagliolini with shrimp and cherry tomatoes, veal scallops with lemon, and veal Milanese-style veal cutlet. It was all delcious! Our waiter was friendly and energetic. Loved the complimentary biscotti and sherry served after our meal. Would definitely go back.

It was a unique experience to be a guest at the restaurant, Cesare is a wonderful waiter who creates an incredibly pleasant and impressive atmosphere. The food is fantastic, made with fresh ingredients. 10 out of 10 experience. We are ready to come again.

Very calm place. I tried the all'amatriciana and it was excellent.

Nice ambiance. Good appetizer (carpaccio) but mediocre mains (amatriciana, lamb, seafood pasta). Lamb was over cooked, pasta was bland.

Extremely authentic family-owned restaurant with Memmo present and running the show. NO PRETENSE. Local place. The waiters are ready to accommodate special requests, and do it candidly without patronizing you. The Amatriciana had a robust Roman flavor and the fennel was divine (multiple options to pick from - I picked the roasted with bread crumbs DIVINE). Highly recommend this place if you want the real thing.

We make a point of eating at Memmo whenever we are visiting Rome from Australia. This was our third dining experience here and have never been disappointed. The food is great and reasonably priced, and the staff are fabulous, with Memmo ever present watching and supervising and greeting the regular guest as if they were part of his family. A visit is alway a highlight of a trip to Rome.

Cada garfada é uma explosão de sabores na boca. Sem enxames de turistas, uma referência para os romanos. Estive 5 dias em Roma e fui lá 2 vezes. Se voltar a Roma será obrigatório uma visita.
