Honestly - the best steak (filet) that I've ever had. Loved the ambiance.

Phenomenal service, fantastic food, and an atmosphere that makes every moment feel special. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The staff is warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. Each dish was packed with flavor. There’s a reason it’s tough to get a reservation: this place is the real deal. 100% worth the wait.

This was the most exceptional meal of our trip to Florence and was overall an incredible experience! Our waiter was so kind, gave us great recommendations, and ensured we had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is cozy yet fun. The food was extraordinary, there simply aren’t words to describe how delicious everything was. One of the most memorable experiences I had with my family and I am so grateful to everyone at Buca Mario!

Not good service…. Very poorly seasoned steak and not well rested. So bad we decided to skip dessert. Was honestly disappointed!

Was super excited to try this restaurant but w-it was very disappointed. The lasagne arrived cold and we had to send it back to be reheated. It was very good once it was warm, and we did like it a lot. The florentine steak had zero flavour and was extremely upsetting. We were so disappointed in that, especially considering the cost. Crostini with the fresh truffle was excellent. Kudos to our server for realizing we were disappointed and doing what he could to make it right. We didn’t want to be rude so we said nothing, but he still gave us limoncello shots & tiramisu on the house. $300 was painful for a dinner we felt was lacking.

Wonderful dining experience from the minute to step in from the street until you leave. Loved it all! You have to get the lasagna. 10/10!!

Service was to fast for such an expensive meal we were in and out in 30 min with desert ! the streak only cooks rare hard for me to eat it! Asparagus and truffle potatoes were good. I had a higher expectation for $230

This was my 3 visit to Buca Mario in 5 past years. I come there for a famous Florentine steak. But this time the steak was too dry and unappetizing. I won’t be eating there anymore.

Federico and the entire staff are warm and gracious. It feels like visiting family to walk into the restaurant. It is the best food we have had in all of Italy.

Everything about the evening was amazing! Hands down the best Italian food we have had.
