The food was great, as was the service. Unbeatable location!

We booked from Sydney Australia as we had heard great things about La Cambusa. The food was delicious but the service was not good. Our waiter was angry and we felt like we didn’t want to ask for anything because he seemed to be in a such bad mood. We had planned to stay for a long lunch but we ended up just getting the bill because we didn’t want to have to interact with him anymore. Such a shame. We are on holidays and just want to enjoy our break and be around hospitable and friendly people as most holiday makers do.

Rude service and bad food - would not recommend it

Staff seemed indifferent. They charged the Cupertino but we had to ask for the bread and water. Wouldn’t go back

Unfortunately I was disappointed by this restaurant. My pasta was under cooked & my husband ordered fish which was very over cooked & dry.

Great food in a great location with super friendly staff! We were there at 5PM in late December and were all so glad to have chosen them ONLINE(!) before our trip!

Have a very nice italian food here with nice view. will definitely go back if going back to positano. Very easy to locate. Price is fair.

A fabulous meal, tasty, prepared with care and well presented. The ambiance overlooking the beach was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English.

Good food and a good location being right down on the front by the sea, service was good but a little overpriced for what it was.

Waiter not the best but view, food, atmosphere were great. Would go again. We had lasagna and crab spegetti both were outstanding! Fries shrimp app best ever!

Food not very good, very basic dishes with not much taste and very slow service. Nice view on the beah though. Don’t recommend, try somewhere else.

Amazing location right on the shore of Positano. Lots of seafood selections - very fresh - exquisite taste. Very good value for size of portions. Would highly recommend!

Il ristorante ha la fortuna di sovrastare il mare, rendendo più speciali le proprie varietà culinarie. Non sono d'accordo con chi scriveva che con la nuova gestione il livello era sceso. Invece ho trovato, come sempre, un pranzo buono fatto con ingredienti freschi e messi sapientemente insieme dallo chef.

POsitano=ce n'est plus ce que c'état il y a 25 ans: bruyant, trop de monde et de commerces de pacotille. La Cambusa c'était bon sans plus.

Terrible service, rude waiters, overpriced! Unfortunately the only really worthwhile part of this restaurant is the view, the rest is a tourist trap and not worth it!

Tutto come da aspettative. Una location paradisiaca, camerieri molto gentili, un ambiente bellissimo e confortevole. Il menu, a base di pesce, ricco e variegato. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Excellent experience-best food so far on our trip. We had been to La Cambusa several years ago but the food was even better this time.

Really enjoyed our seafood starters and pastas here. Our table had a nice view of the beach and overall was a relaxed meal and pleasant evening.

Delicious, authentic food, big wine selection, top quality service and honest prices. Great location by the main beach in Positano. One con: tiramisu was not that great, maybe desserts are not their strongest side. Enjoy the fantastic dishes and skip dessert!
