Beautiful terrasse close to the Piazza Navona. The servers (ask for Fla) are very nice, food is great and the vibe is incredible. An island of peace in the middle of one of the most chaotic areas of Rome!

The starter was fine, but the lobster pasta was terrible. The pasta itself was cooked well. The lobster was absolutely terrible; the meat was barely removable, not tasty, and I had problems with it that evening. The lobster was clearly old, tough, and very fishy in taste. When I mentioned it, they said they would pass it on to the chef, but there was no response. Unfortunately, I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. The location and atmosphere are great, but you come here for the food

Santa Lucia is a true 5 star all around experience encompassing everything magical about the city of Rome. Arde our waiter was outstanding in every way. From his professional welcoming and experienced demeanor to his wonderful wine recommendations and full knowledge of how to make a quality drink for my husband (you’d be surprised how many restaurants couldn’t get a vodka club soda with lime correct). But there’s more to why I give Santa Lucia a five star review. We had come to Rome 15 years ago and again 12 years ago. Even back then our family gave Santa Lucia our family’s award for best restaurant in Italy. We spent two weeks here on our first trip and three weeks there second time. This September 2025 we came back to Rome for 5 weeks and tried out so many restaurants here in Rome, Florence, and Sardinia and sure enough it is still our favorite restaurant in all of Italy. I specifically want to call out the Tagliolini with truffle dish which the best I’ve ever had as well as the octopus appetizer and cheesecake for desert. I also want to make a point that Arde never asked for a review. We were so impressed with him that we asked him his name so we could acknowledge him and thank him again formally. This restaurant will be top of our list for a lifetime and we can’t wait to come back.

Wir haben das Restaurant gebucht, da wir vor 10 Jahren schon mal dort waren. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön. Es war aber leider der teuerste Restaurantbesuch, den wir in Rom hatten und wir hatten woanders wesentlich besser gegessen. Die Tagliata di manzo, die wir medium rare bestellt haben, war leider eine dünne durchgegarte Scheibe Fleisch um € 53 mit Patate al forno. Bei dem Preis darf man doch erwarten, dass das Essen zu 100 % passt. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

The main issue was an environmental, as the Plane Trees are blooming and the restaurant courtyard is situated right undernerteath three big ones that dropped an amazing amount of itchy bloom.

The experience was something I've waited for for years. The service was impeccable. The meal? Beyond late as we watched other customers cone and go. The presentation and taste? Delicious. The desert? One in a million. Thank you

The service was amazing and the location was perfect. Food was very delicious but the gamberi gnocchi had only 3 rather small prawns. It was delicious nonetheless but too pricey for what it was

It was a very fun and festive night -- we were there for New Year's. The wait staff was accommodating and helpful, and we had champagne at midnight with fireworks going off all around!
