This is a special place, simple ingredients, food beautifully prepared. The location is charming on the Isola Tiberino in the Tiber South of Campadoglio and the restaurant is very easy the find just at the kand fall after the bridge in a medieval enclave. Service was lovely and all very comfortable and friendly advise Booking well in advance in peak season which starts early here as the locals monopolise so it seems the core following does not leave much room for casual passers-by. We were told about this place and booked three weeks ahead in April for mid-May, had we not booked, we would not have found a table. Well worth a planned visit - this was best food we ate in Rome at a really reasonable price and by far the loveliest location (on the rear terrace) inside was cosy outside was a gorgeous view.
Location : molto carina, perfetta per la tarda primavera o fine estate,... purtroppo scomoda come lo sono i sampietrini di Roma. Cibo: 2 alici fritte troppo pastellate e asciutte, 1 bottiglia Frascati Pallotta ottimo consiglio dei camerieri, 2 cuore baccalà su crema lenticchie voto=10, ma senza lode (perché poca quantità per il costo che ha). 3 Contorni validi, ma standard. 1 Crumble friabile, immerso in crema pasticcera e ornato di spuma al limone in superficie : siamo onorati di essere stati cavie! Conto: 100€, forse un po' caro per le esigue quantità?
