Food was great! Portions were perfect size and they accommodated our larger party with ease.

I don’t think we could have had a better experience! The ambience, food, wine, service, really everything was just amazing!! Would go back in a heartbeat!!

Beautiful restaurant in a wonderful setting. Staff were attentive but not fussy and the food was excellent. The house wine was very good. Highly recommended

We had an amazing lunch on the terrace by the canal. The view was ideal and the food was even better.

The food, drink, service and atmosphere were outstanding here. Only downside was the weather which meant we could not eat outside along the patio.

Everything was amazing, especially our waiter Sam! We had antipasti (caprese), first course of the spicy penne and vegetable tagliatelle, second course of beef filet with green pepper sauce. Each bite was something to savor! The outdoor seating was impeccable. Finally (again), the service was top notch!! Thank you so much (grazie millie)!!

Molto bene! Authentic Italian dining experience! Wonderful food- the gnocchi Quattro formaggi was exquisite. The dining staff was excellent and our waiter was the perfect mix of attentiveness and giving us space and time to enjoy our meal. Highly recommend!

Such a charming restaurant with beautiful food and lovely staff, we really enjoyed our time here and would love to come again. Sitting out on the balcony was such a gorgeous experience as they served the food and drink through a window. A must visit in Venice.

Wenn schon Reservierung auf dem Balkon für 90 Minuten, dann bitte auch schnelle Bedienung. Haben fast 1 Stunde gewartet, bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Dann in 30 schnell essen müssen. Kleineres Geschirr bzw. Nicht alles auf extra Tellern (1 Teller Fisch, plus 1 Teller Gemüse) bei einem 40 Mal 40 cm Tisch wäre auch nicht doof...sondern schlau.. essen ok

Great food and straff! Loved sitting outside by the vanskelig. Only thing is we felt a little forgotten by the staff a few times because of where we were seated. Other than that it was a lovely experience, would recomend!

Dona Onesta has a lovely setting next to a canal and a is buzzy restaurant from the outside that looks traditional and authentic. The food however was poor, for example the pasta dishes came to the table so incredibly hot they must have come from a microwave, the funghi pasts in particular had very little flavour. The service we experienced was all over the place with two courses arriving at the same time, cutlery and drinks orders forgotten. In the end this turned out to be a classic tourist joint serving below average food in a nice setting and our worst dining experience in Venice. You probably guessed it, but we would not recommend this place.

Wonderful location! We had reserved a table at the terrace. Delicious food; both the carbonara and the tagliatelle with nusbroom and truffle cream.
