We dined on Valentine's day which was also my wife's birthday. Most other guests had the tasting menu but being 7pm and not big eaters, elected for two courses from the main menu. After about 20 minutes we were asked if we wanted wine and told I can show you some cheap ones! Bit shocked by the judgement, which could only be based on not taking the tasting menu. The rest of the evening was great, the food very Michelin orientated, wonderful cosy atmosphere and the waiters very attentive. Would return for special occasion but Venise has many superb restaurants to chose from, so wouldn't be a regular haunt. We ended up having three courses and a bottle of wine which ironically cost as much as the tasting menu, so that option provides good value for money. Thank you Bistrot de Venis

Gehobene venezianische Küche. Sehr kreative Interpretation vieler Gerichte. Wir hatten z.B. "Vegetarische Komposition" mit überraschenden Ideen, z.B. Wassermelonen tatar. Sehr spannend, aber auch sehr hochpreisig. Das Restaurant selbst hat ein tolles Ambiente, Service ist sehr gut. Speisekarten gibt es in mehreren Sprachen. Reservierung dringend empfohlen. Wer allerdings günstig essen und dabei satt werden will, sollte woanders hingehen.

Lovely restaurant by a small channel with gondolas passing by, very romantic! We had the Classic tasting four course menue with a veal Lasagne to-die-for and a Tiramisu we will never forget. The different wines were perfectly matched to the food.

Wir haben ausgezeichnet gegessen, das Ambiente war auch sehr schön. Einziger Wermutstropfen war, dass wir zuerst einen Tisch im Freien hatten und dann das Pech, dass jede Menge Raucher um uns herumsaßen. Es war aber überhaupt kein Problem ins Lokal hinein zu wechseln. Wir können das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen, auch die Kellner waren top!
