Dara was an excellent waiter. My wife and I dined for her birthday and we had excellent service! The food was superb!

Be prepared to have traditional Venetian cuisine. Service was prompt and courteous. The location is close to San Marco square. Overall is was a nice experience.

Spectacular food, as always. The crudo platter was exceptional; the quail (deboned!) and lasagna too. And the historical Venetian desserts!!!! Lovely service and charming old-world atmosphere.

Food was beautifully presented, but was quite bland. The complementary dessert was not necessary, especially when we had already said we were satisfied. Service was otherwise good.

The food and service were excellent. If you are looking for a great dining experience without the attitude and super high prices around the tourist sights like Piazza San Marco, this is the place.

Food and service are ok but the environment closed to the bar is very noisy and the front area close is very hot, discounting your dining experience (provided at the price you are paying).

Amazing! Can’t say it enough, everything was beyond what we could have imagined. Food was out of this world and the wine pairings were spot on. Our host was excellent and made our experience unforgettable. Will definitely be back to visit!

We had such a lovely moment at Bistrot de Venise. Romantic dinner; delicate, subtle and tasty dishes (the quantity was perfect). We had each one appetizer, first course and then we shared a second course. We were welcomed with a prosecco and delicious appetizers (with an incredible beef tartare). Dara took care of us and was a very professional, funny and pleasant person. We had a great time there and recommend to anyone who is looking for an intimate and gastronomic experience. Thank you for everything and thank you Dara. We will gladly come back.

Terrible service from Guiseppe. He was covering way too many tables. Ran out of water. Consistently waited on every course. Took 2 hours and 45 minutes for dinner. And the bill was incorrect.

We celebrated my birthday at Bistrot de Venise and it was a joy. We were seated outside as requested, on the terrace along a quiet side street. Yes, many of the diners were tourists like us, but quiet, happy ones. Our server, Dar, spoke English and worked hard to please us. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable, and even though I was drinking by the glass he guided me to some excellent and reasonably priced options. I love the "historic" dishes at this restaurant, such as the spaghetti with cuttlefish in squid's ink and the duck breast. Dessert was a "de-constructed" tiramisu, which was delicious. A wonderful evening, highly recommended.
