We've been to this restaurant several times but may not return after this last visit. The food was good, but the service was so rushed that we had to ask for wine several times and were presented a bill before being offered coffee or requesting it. We were also placed in a back corner at a metal table that was uncomfortable. We had the feeling that they assumed because we are not Italian, we'd be in and out. We were very disappointed since this had been one of our never miss spots in Florence.

Great food, mostly locals, which tells me the food is excellent. We had a wonderful meal and the service was great.,

Always a good meal with their long list of daily specials

The food was quite good. The tiramisu was excellent. The wait staff were unusually friendly. One complaint is that they charged 6€ for a glass of wine or beer, which I didn’t have. I should’ve checked the bill more closely before paying.

if you want a quiet evening in an old Trattoria that feels like one that I was in 35 years ago, this is the one. Not pretentious, great service, food was uniquely regional and very well prepared. The rabbit and the lamb were sauced "old school Italian style" and both were outstanding. The stuff ravioli with Osso Buco was unique and the veal reduction with it felt wonderful. House wine simple and complimented the food nicely.

Had two very good meals at this traditional Tuscan restaurant that luckily is less touristy than many other places in the Santa Croce area.

I visited Club Culinario Toscano da Osvaldo for a weekday pranzo with a party of three. The food and service were amazing. Osso buco pasta and bistecca fiorentina were absolutely delicious, and the vin santo and cantuccini for dolce were fabulous.
