We wanted a special meal for our last night in Roma and Mare Nostrum didn’t disappoint. We shared a beautiful meal Of seafood with our son and his girlfriend . The fish of the day tartare was exquisite and the Sicilian Tuna Tagliatawas was incredible! The Grilled catch of the day fillet was perfect. We finished with deserts the cannoli being the standout. Such a beautiful way to end 5 weeks around Italy! Thank you to the staff at Mare Nostrum for making our evening special .

Such great seafood! The caramelized onions with almonds on the tuna were to die for - great flavor balance! The amberjack stewed in tomatoes, pine nuts and ginger was succulent. Cooked perfectly and I picked the sauce with my fingers!! Grazie!

The food was not good More like chef boyardee They said tortellini and it was more like a huge ravioli with uncooked small shrimp on top I would NOT recommend eating here

Really enjoyed our meal at this place. All the seafood was so fresh and sweet, perfectly and very creatively seasoned. Every dish we bad was absolutely delicious, even something as common as mixed fried seafood clearly stood out in comparison to other restaurants, was definitely one of the best I’ve had! The gorgeous food experience was further elevated by the very attentive and professional staff, and nice wines :)

This was a chance find as part of my wife’s birthday and anniversary weekend. Superb food and fabulous service in an “out of the way” location. Well worth a visit.

Truly incredible food. Go here. Really! If you like seafood you absolutely have to seek this place out. It’s a 5 - 10 minute walk from the main streets of Trastevere. But the short walk will be worth it. Recommended to us by a local as their favourite restaurant in Rome. By far the best meal we ate over a five day stay. Enough said!

Locale molto carino e moderno, abbiamo cenato all'aperto. Il menù a base di pesce crudo e cotto aveva un'ottima scelta con abbinamenti tipicamente siciliani. Sono stati gentilissimi e hanno accontentato anche una mia richiesta fuori carta. Pesce freschissimo e condimento leggero. Sicuramente ci torneremo per provare i primi che abbiamo visto passare ed erano davvero accattivanti. Comodo per raggiungere Trastevere. Lo abbiamo trovato economico rispetto ad altri ristoranti di pesce della zona e l'alta qualità dell'offerta.

Splendida scoperta, consigliato da un amico. Eravamo in 4 ed abbiamo ordinato tutte cose diverse così ho potuto assaggiare più piatti. Devo dire che soprattutto gli antipasti sono da 10 e lode. Divertentissime le gag dei vari clienti alle prese con l'apertura della porta della toilette.

Un'atmosfera accogliente ed incantevole...ottimo servizio è buonissimo tuttooo!!! Complimenti 🎉
