We had a wonderful experience at MASTO. Rita, the owner, was very friendly and warm to us. She made great suggestions about food and wine. We also sampled a number of tasty items that MASTO has for sale, which was a fun part of the night. The gnocchi gricia and artichoke lasagna were both very well prepared. We also enjoyed the veal rolled in raddichio that was very flavorful and delicate. We thought the prices were more than fair. Service was very timely and the atmosphere was comfortable. We would return to MASTO on future trips.

Accueil très sympathique, le risotto mirtille/gorgonzola était très bien. Le vin blanc également. Mais la portion salumeria/formaggi était un peu modeste même pour une personne et on regrette que les vins rouges proposés soient si chers par rapport aux vins blancs. Un choix de quelques bouteilles à 25 euros serait bienvenu.

The food was very very good, service exceptional, price for money great.

We visited this small restaurant/place for drinks/(wine)shop for the second time. The food was amazing - all quality ingredients and portions were generous for the price. What really stood out was the service. Emiliano helped us not only pick the wine and navigate through the menu, but also gave so much background to Italian wines and even planned a wine route through Tuscany for us for the summer. When we are back in Rome we will certainly visit Masto again

Purtroppo dopo 2 ore non ci era ancora arrivata una parte dell’ ordinazione. Nonostante la qualità buona, il conto ci è sembrato decisamente troppo alto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Peccato
